Thanks - interesting to know. You'll have to forgive me for not being as up to date on what Tucker Carlson thinks as I should be! Maybe if more of the main "manosphere" characters follow suit it can have an impact. I have severe doubts though enough of them are incentivised to do so. |

Well let's hope you're right but you need somebody with gravitas to "prosecute" this and QANON aren't exactly that. Fox, Rogan, Tucker Carlson or similar rolling over on him I could imagine might have some impact but as you say, nothing has stuck so far and I can't see much of an incentive for them to do so given they rely on his base for viewing numbers. I could however see a scenario whereby this all catches up to him once he's out of office but I presume this would be a civil case not criminal a la Prince Andrew. [Post edited 18 Jul 10:21]

I went last year for a wedding, so was only there for 4 days but my two cents would be: Avoid Catania. To call it rough around the edges wouldn't do it justice. Taromina, near mount Etna, is beautiful though - it's where they filmed a series of White Lotus (season 2 I think). [Post edited 18 Jul 9:41]

I really don't see any of this going anywhere or having a material effect on Trump's position. If any images ever surface, he’ll just dismiss them as AI fakes. And if this letter exists, it doesn’t prove much. There's more than enough plausible deniability baked in - they could be talking about anything. And while right-thinking people like you and I can read between the lines, we’re not exactly his base. The Dems are in disarray so there's nobody to prosecute this so to speak either. And Republicans won't speak up en masse because what's the point - he won't be there in 3 years so the path of least resistance is just to do nothing. [Post edited 18 Jul 10:22]

Thanks mate. Having been to Kuwait for work - I'm reasonably hopeful there's still a glimmer of hope for us! Sure Sam will love it but not much to keep the family occupied. |

Is it possible Morsy departure hasn't been announced yet because we won't let him go until new signings are in the door? Or do you think it's done - no way back so to speak? |

Totally agree. Him, Wes, Hirst, Woolfy and Davis will have a big role to play this season, just as much off it as on it. |

Yes, that's what we need - more upheaval of the old guard in a single summer. |

Not sure it's pessimistic, more objectively setting out the facts. I'm certain the others mentioned (Summerville and Carvalho) also MASSIVELY believed in themselves too. And, as much as I rate Omari, and I really do, wildly optimistic to think he'd be in the running for the WC with one good season in the PL when Bowen and Madueke can't even get a few mins here or there. Let alone he needs to get past Saka, Palmer and Foden who also play his position. [Post edited 16 Jul 11:13]

And Summerville... I actually think Sitters is right. Normally I'd struggle to find genuine reasons for why somebody would want to stay with us in the Champ vs. a PL move. However, Andrews is a total unknown quantity and there's a real risk he's gone by Autumn if they're not off to a good start. Add to that two of their best players have gone already and a third likely. You'd have to think in those conditions he might find it hard (er) to shine and get the exposure he wants. I can't see a huge upside for him personally here aside from the money. Arguably he's better off starting the season here under KM in (hopefully) a winning side and seeing if Forest, Fulham or similar come for him in Jan. [Post edited 16 Jul 10:54]

Surely the correct answer is blowing an imaginary whistle when a penalty was awarded in the home game against Port Vale. |

The first part I make you right. The comments from McKenna only last month though clearly stated he felt Sam would be here this season. So that part has only changed in the last 2-3 weeks. |

Somebody mentioned Travis earlier in the thread. Think that would be a very good idea. Would love to see him come back along with Jens and/or Ruiz. At least with Travis and Jens we would have a bit of continuity. |

"I repeat - if he doesn't want to be a bit-part player and continue setting training ground standards, why would we want to keep him under duress" Do you know that to be the case? And even if you do - I would say to him that while we are incredibly thankful for his immense contribution, he and has family are now in a different financial stratosphere compared to when we took him from the lower reaches of the Championship - when he could reasonably have been described as a journeyman. So, Sam, please can you stick around another 12 months, help us with a transition and we'll make it worth your while if you can help get us back up. Ps if you have no intention of honouring a contract don't sign it. |

Who gives a sh1t?! He's under contract and has done very well financially out of us too - having been plucked from the lower end of the Champ. Make him play out his last year. |

Nobody is being hysterical ffs. People are rightly pointing out there has been an enormous amount of churn already this summer with on field and off field staff and are reasonably a bit concerned, given history shows us this can sometimes lead to far from optimal outcomes. If you don't think we'll miss Morsy's qualities and leadership attributes that's fine but I'd gently suggest you've probably not been paying attention for the last three years. Even McKenna himself said last month Sam would be here this season so he was in our plans and KM clearly wasn't concerned he was on the decline. [Post edited 15 Jul 11:02]
