"Nonsense interview hides piss poor performance". If you went to the QPR game on Boxing Day a couple of years back it was that bad! PL can walk anytime as the football is still sub-par and we're not even winning now. We don't utilise the width at all and our centre halves hoof it long to two small forwards time after time in league one... Now worried about the likes of Oxford, Pompy etc chasing us down. 22,000+ there to sit in the rain and not see a shot on target - do me a favour. |

Kenlock is not good enough for ITFC, I lost count how many times he lost possession after maybe 12-13 occasions. Norris I can't comment as I've never seen him in action but must be decent if Wolves nabbed him from Cambridge.
Elliott looks to fill a void we've had since Murph left. I remember him being a physical menace once or twice vs town and possibly even scored vs us once. From watching the above video he'll feed off Judge's good set piece deliveries and let's be honest we need a route one option in league one. Not every team are going to let our kids play around them for 90 mins.

Great news! One if not the only bright spark indeed. Takes people on, shoots, can take set pieces - looks the real deal.
Agree the team needs to be built around him and Dozzell moving forward. Honestly not sure about Downes - doesn't score or create and I'm not sure he's an enforcer either. Gets a lot of game time and is shaping up to be the next Luke Hyam without the injuries IMO. Would like to see him get beyond the last man and try to score as ITFC clearly lack any form of goal from CM nowadays even though we are playing 3 in there. Or move aside and give Nydam a run, who Paul Blurst decided would be better off in Scotland on the bench... Hmmm I wonder why he didn't work out! |

Honestly it's so boring hearing half the people on here moaning about signings! Cover is good to have, he may be better than Downes or Nydam? There may even be a future fee involved...Who knows! Just be positive and you don't know what could happen. Look at Huddersfield. After 5-6 years of Mick, I expect even the most pessimistic town fan to be upbeat right now. WE'RE SPENDING MONEY!! |
