 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-4 Tottenham Hotspur - Match Report at 21:31:10
I didn't see the match yesterday but am of the idea that McKenna rotates too many players and in the autumn should have stuck with a settled team...never been an advocate of shuffling the team around and it seems every game there are too many changes and players play like complete strangers.... |
 | News Comment | Silva: Davis Should Have Been Sent Off at 11:14:19
Clearly someone needs to teach silva the rules of the games before he opens his mouth. I thought Fulham had the lions share of decisions going their way and 2 penalties to boot..even though for the first one their player made a theatrical fall of it. However, if Town continue to play like they did in West London, we will have a fighting chance to stay up...well done the Tractor Boys |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm Hladky Exit at 11:55:36
I think Walton will step up to the plate now...I always thought he was better than Hladky |
 | News Comment | Hull City 3-3 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 22:26:02
Great game but thrown away at the end when we should have been playing out the match...I feel Clarke was ball watching instead of marking his player. for Hull's 3rd goal...we are not a watertight team in defence and get cut to pieces too easily..From McK's reaction he felt that way too at 2 points lost.. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 4-3 Rotherham United - Match Report at 07:51:45
Very scrappy performance and not convincing at all......we looked plain mediocre at times and seemed to accept second best. I would like to see Walton back now and the defence shook up as it is paper thin at times. Mightily glad for the win but if we play like last night, we won't win many more matches for sure.... |
 | News Comment | Swansea City 1-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 09:42:19
Hard fought victory against dangerous opponents...let's keep the pressure on those above us and keep it going against Rotherham on Tuesday night....Broadhead is a top striker who works hard and is getting his just rewards now...good all round performance...well done The Blues |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Credit to Maidstone, a Horrible Game to Lose at 21:45:14
Everytime McKenna makes wholesale changes like against Fulham in the Carabao cup, we come up short. How I long for the days when in the cups, we fielded a full strength team. Now it is the norm to field a below strength 11...I don't get it and don't agree with it. We should never have lost yesterday and wouldn't have if we had had our best 11 on the pitch... |

 | News Comment | Charlton Confirm Ladapo Loan Move at 14:39:59
I liked Freddie's contribution to the Promotion season but on the few occasions he played this season, he seemed disinterested and lackadaisical so a parting of the ways seems the best option for both parties methinks...we need motivated players to take us to the higher echelons of English football... |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 2-1 Sunderland - Match Report at 10:51:58
It seems the common thinking amongst football pundits in this period is that Ipswich will fold and a"bigger" club like Southampton will automatically overtake them...the praise for Southampton's unbeaten run is gushing and overblown; I think this should be a challenge to the Superblues to stuff these words down the throats of these so-called experts and prove them wrong. Town are a bigger club than them and we should act as much...let's continue with doing the business on the pitch, as we proved against a strong Sunderland side and we will see at season's end but I say may the best team win... |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-0 Queens Park Rangers - Match Report at 13:40:59
I have no doubt KM is ruthless in a quiet assassin mode and will do what is necessary to shake the team up. We were hopeless last night...weren't really up to it and it showed that despite having a big squad, too many are bang average players. I thought Adapo was in one of his "i can't be bothered" phases ( and I was a fan and defended him in the past ) and simply unwatchable...Burgess passed too many times to the opposition and had a poor match by his standards and generally we were not at the races last night.Southampton are creeping up and maybe this is the kick up the back side we need as we have been toiling of late. Bring on the new year and a new impetus now... |
