 | News Comment | McKenna Tight-Lipped on Hackney and Cajuste at 21:55:22
Maybe when no offers come from a Premiership club (other than as a benchwarmer or being loaned out) HH will see he's better off here than staying where he is? McKenna was tight lipped which suggests this is not over yet, |
 | News Comment | Edwards: The Ball's in Hackney's Court at 09:34:51
Leeds unaware that they are even interested!. Man U and Everton both hovering over making a bid (needing bench warmers). Either club would be a mistake for Hackney (they can't guarantee him game time like ITFC can). |
 | News Comment | Town and Boro Agree Hackney Fee at 14:41:07
ITFC would be a good move for Hackney (not just sitting on the bench at MU or being loaned out to another Championship club). He will improve under our manager and will be playing Premiership football in 12 months time. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Hirst Primed For Good Season at 14:43:42
Overshadowed By Delap. Underrated by some. Unselfish by bringing others into the game. Expect 20 goals from him this season. He's a current full international centre forward! |

 | News Comment | Delap's Chelsea Move Confirmed at 10:04:21
Maybe he'll come back here in the not-to-distant future. ITFC turned him into a star player, Man City didn't. Will Chelsea and the temptation of London nightclubs be the right place for him to progress? |
 | News Comment | Morsy: I Don't Think It's Momentum at 11:52:32
Gforce good points. I bet we would both prefer to see two really good signings instead of half a dozen where only a couple work out to be good (look at the last ones). Easier said than done |
 | News Comment | Moyes: We're Among Clubs to Have Spoken to Delap at 17:42:54
His career might benefit in the long run by scoring lots of goals playing regularly with a season in the the Championship under McKenna, instead of sitting on the bench watching. |
 | News Comment | Manchester United 'In Pole Position' For Delap at 10:12:02
Why would Delap rush to leave ITFC? He could do better to stay here, score lots of goals and after one season be back in the Premiership with us. Instead he would probably be sitting on the bench somewhere else, learning little. He has been well looked after here, never having to play for a full 95 minutes. However, I expect his agent wants a big cheque.........now! |
 | News Comment | Hirst: It's About Self-Pride at 17:46:03
Agree with you ArnieM. Delap would have benefited so much being paired with Hirst. Not too late to try! |
 | News Comment | Everton 2-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 18:11:50
I like Delap, but I believe he would be more effective playing alongside Hirst. What is there to lose by giving them game time together? It could even be more exciting than all this dreary 'passing sideways out of the back'! |
 | News Comment | Chelsea 2-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 16:27:14
Hirst deserves more starts - he brings a lot to our attacks. He could do with shooting practice which comes with game time. Involved in both our goals. |
