If Keane walks ... pray that he walks into another job quickly then he can come back and take 'the characters' he brought to this club off our books. I would have loved to see some crunching tackles, and a bit more passion on sunday. This result was always inevitable for those that have watched Ipswich's last few home games. I didnt see many characters at Carrow Road just players hiding.
Keane says the ' I've got a great group here ' ... My missus says that Take That are a 'great group' but you wouldnt dream of having Jason Orange on lead vocals and Gary Barlow dancing half naked on the stage. Play the players in the correct positions or jog on Mr Keane ....
I also think that Terry Butcher may be a good shout or even Gus Poyet from Brighton. |

Good to see Wickham & Eastman strolling through Ipswich Town centre an hour before kick off on sunday ... ok they're injured .. but you would've thought they would have wanted to be there & support their team mates. Also same with Grant Leadbitter when he was suspended for the Barnsley game - he was in Costa with his family. Why doesnt Keane want his players around him ... injured/suspended or not ??? |

Morrison from Millwall would be a quality addition come January. He wins everything in the air and can find the net. Also plays with his heart on his sleeve very much in the mould of Jon Walters first season as Town.
Also feel we could do with a midfield playmaker ... see that Hoolahan cant get a game at Norwich ...
Is Civelli any closer to his long awaited first team return yet ?? |

Spot on Elburro & Papa ... And it was Ipswich Town Football Club that are auctioning these shirts (as the seller). With ITFC & N'Castle not words that people would search on ebay you cant help feel that these could get more money if marketed correctly. With Ipswich Town being backed & sponsored by marketing & business guru the Marcus Evans group i would of thought it could have been done a little better .... if more shirts are to be auctioned please note this for the future auctions. Nice to see that the shirts are getting top dollar though and all for a such a worthwhile & fantastic cause ..... |

Would Mcauley have played against Preston if they played a different strike pairing. Parkin and Brown are big units and in fairness to Mcauley he was extremely vocal to the likes of Balkestein & Smith first half. Not everyones cup of tea agreed but being dropped might have been the catalyst for him kick starting his season. His distribution in the second half was awful, but everytime he received the ball it was greeted with jeers and boos ....
I too am looking forward to that 'surprise signing' that may well be coming - dont think it will be Dos Santos - more likely to be Georges Santos - and also cant believe that Jim hasnt come sniffing back round the likes of Garven/Mcauley and Smith ... yet ??? |

OK, this is how i see it ...
What Ipswich are crying out for is the following. 2 pacey Wing backs who like to get to take on their man, get to the by line and pull the ball back to our fwds. We have not had this kind of player for many years. We also need a midfielder who will demand the ball from the centre backs (go and get it) .. The trouble with Ipswichs game at the moment (and not knocking young Pim too much) is that as soon as he receives the ball - he will hit that long diagonal ball towards our strikers. This ball may work 30% of the time but we dont have a midfielder who will pick up the pieces from the strikers and kick on from there. Get a midfielder in the shape of Greening, Tugay or dare i say Clingan and this would solve many problems ... you dont become a bad team overnight - just get that creative MF in and we will score more than we concede ...
Priskin and Counago upfront will cause allsorts of problems for many defences - just give them a decent run together and they will repay with goals and assists ...
