Herbivore loves his down-arrow. It's what bitter, 50-year-olds do. [Post edited 5 Apr 23:20]

I think we need 'Townsend was injured' a few more times replying to your post. Always brave to go against the grain on here. Good post. |

since 2010. And don't live in Orford. Nice prejudice tho. And your anecdotal evidence trumps The Athletic, obviously. |

Yep. That a pretty prestigious sports publication has been so, so damning and yet so many responses on here have defended and justified our poor season suggests many are not accepting the reality of this season. We have simply not got better, as the season has progressed, as McKenna stated we would. The hope is, in the medium to long term, this is just a blip. |

we can argue that it's unfair, but our image this season, outside the twtd's bubble, is pretty shambolic. [Post edited 27 Feb 16:51]

I used the terms to describe Morsy before Christmas (with, I believe, nearly a hundred down-votes). But, that pretty much describes the team this year, and has been used many times. The galling thing is, McKenna stated we would improve as the season progressed. I think relegation with an improving side would be easier to take, but it feels like we are not learning and adapting and really not giving this opportunity our best shot. That 2nd half was truly awful. |

Should that drive not be coming from Morsy? Cajuste certainly tried. Philogene looked lost; whether that was down to him, or Mckenna, or both, who knows? |

fair dues shielding. But without the ball, turning and chasing - forget it. Watch when he lost the ball twice, high up, against Man Utd, then turned to run back - it was sad. And the problem with shielding and then short passing is that it is slow and that he is not pinging it around enough or taking on his man unlike his counterpart or team-mate Cajuste. He's probably more suited as a sub seeing a game out, not as a midfield dynamo. |
