I was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer in 2020, so with COVID I had nobody with me and had to break the news to my wife over the phone, something I’ll never forget.
Fortunately I’m good, and testament to life after cancer, and there is one.
If you need a chat please PM me, I’d me more than happy to provide any advice or support if needed, as I’m well aware how difficult it must be for you as well.
All the best for the journey ahead, you will get through it.
Take a look at the comments on Bristol City Live on Facebook. As I said, I’m only reporting on what I’ve been told and the general mood amongst their fans. Maybe you should ask them.
Speaking to a Bristol City supporting friend on Facebook last night who’s local paper are running the story. They really don’t like Ashton. Main complaint seems to be he’s a “Yes” man.
My wife has been vegan since the start of 2019 after being veggie for a number of years. Despite offering to cook meat I happily chomped away at vegetarian meals she prepared and whenever I cooked I never bothered with meat. When she decided to go vegan, I went a little pale, before she told me that all the meals she had prepared over the last six months had been vegan and I didn't even know. I could happily go veggie, and my taste buds have attuned to my regular diet and more often than not I choose the veggie option on a meal out. My love of cheese would prevent me going vegan though.
