 | Forum Thread | Player of the season at 14:00 15 Apr 2025
So then folks, who do you think will be runner up in this seasons Player of the Season award? I say runner up because we all know Delap will win it! |
 | Forum Thread | There is a big chance that at 13:00 12 Mar 2025
We could be 9 points behind Wolves come Saturday evening. Whilst we are at home to 3rd place Nottingham Forest, Wolves are away at bottom of the table Southampton. A 6 point gap is quite hard to overcome - especially when we've only won 3 games all season, but a 9 point gap would surely be too much. Lets hope this isn't the case though eh and we end up only 3 points behind Wolves come Saturday night! COYBs |
 | Forum Thread | McKenna Out at 12:16 17 Jan 2025
We've now lost the same amount of games in the league as Spurs - McKenna Out Yes I am being a numpty but just wanted to lighten the mood a bit after last night! |
 | Forum Thread | My attempt at a positive twist on things...... at 15:01 20 Oct 2024
Ok so I may be clutching at straws here but here goes. I was fuming after yesterdays game. I can take the defeat but the way we lost was so bad and thats what hurt the most. Lots of people have tried to calm the tension and anger from yesterday and rightly so, afterall we are only 8 games in. So yes 3 points lost yesterday against a perceived relegation rival, BUT who really expected us to get a point away at Brighton or at home to Villa. Add to that the point we snatched from the jaws of defeat at Southampton and there are 3 points we may not have predicted to get. I guess what im saying is that this is football and anything can happen. Who predicted Bournemouth to beat Arsenal yesterday for example. We will pick up points in games we wouldnt expect to, and drop points in games we would expect to get points from - HOWEVER I appreciate that the performances will have to improve from the last two games, especially yesterday - but I trust in McKenna. Injuries to key players havent helped but try and keep the faith folks. COYBs |
 | Forum Thread | Bristol Street Trophy at 20:11 3 Sep 2024
As we know from our time in the Pizza Cup (now the Bristol Street Motors Trophy), there are Premier League teams who have an U21s side in the competition. Does anyone know if we were invited to participate in this now we are Premier League? |
 | Forum Thread | Forward Options at 23:41 30 Aug 2024
Ok so we didnt get the striker we wanted today...... Broja was ultimately too much of a risk and Chelsea probably didnt like our lower offer for him. Nelson decided to stay in London and probably got contacted by former Gooner Smith-Rowe who persuaded him to choose Fulham. Finally Latte-Lath seems it was a bit of a non-starter in terms of negotiations with Middlesbrough. Although we do not have many out and out striker options, our attacking options are as follows: Chaplin, Delap, Hutchinson, Hirst, Broadhead, Szmodics, Al-Hamadi, Clarke, Ogbene & Burns (apologies if ive forgotten anyone) The last 2 seasons our goals have come from all over the pitch without the need to have a striker bagging the majority....hopefully we can replicate that again this season.....or at least until January when the winter transfer window opens. Disappointing we didnt get another striker in for sure, but not much we can do now apart from get right behind the boys that do play for us - starting with tomorrow at home to Fulham. Leave any negative thoughts at home tomorrow and be in full voice at fortress PR! COYBs |
 | Forum Thread | Sky Sports at 11:54 30 Aug 2024
Anyone know if there is a Sky Sports reporter at Portman Road/Playford Road?? Ive been watching all morning and we are the only Premier League team they haven't spoken about yet. They even went to Leicester who openly said they didn't expect to make anymore signings today! This hatred towards Ipswich from Sky Sports is a joke! |
 | Forum Thread | Driving to Brighton at 09:03 28 Aug 2024
Apologies if this has already been posted, but those driving to the Brighton game on Sept 14th, be aware that all the parking around the ground including the Park & Rides has sold out due to an event relating to the University. There is also no street parking near the ground either. The upside is that non P&R buses and trains are free (apparently) if you have a matchday ticket - although presumably these will be absolutely heaving with all those that would usually park at the ground & P&R having to use these as well. Hopefully everyone gets there ok! I bet they wouldn't do this if Man City or Liverpool were visiting! |

Szmodics has scored again. Ashton give Blackburn the extra £500,000 they want and get him to Portman Road! |

We will have any more new signings through the door by Saturdays friendly against Nice? |
 | Forum Thread | Szmodics at 15:42 31 Jul 2024
This transfer saga is dragging on a bit isn't it. Regardless of who, what, where, when and how the hold up is - at what point do we just say sod it and move on? On a side note I think we should bid for Matt O'Riley from Celtic - he's Premier League quality thats for sure! |
 | Forum Thread | Following on from Rachel Riley.......... at 09:29 23 Aug 2023
Saying she would stop supporting Man Utd if Mason Greenwood played for them again: Hypothetically speaking - is there any player that if Town signed them it would make you seriously question whether you could support them anymore? Just an general question - no meaning behind it. |
 | Forum Thread | Clean Sheet at 13:33 17 Feb 2021
I know this is a bit of a moot point considering the result and the performance....... BUT Another clean sheet when Chambers isn't in the starting 11! #justsaying Lambert Out! |
 | Forum Thread | Chambo's Black Eye at 13:43 27 Jan 2021
Apologies if this has already been mentioned but did anyone else notice Chambo's black eye last night? Repercussions from his differing comments after the Peterborough game than those of Shambert perhaps? |
