| News Comment | Lambert: We Kept Knocking and Got the Rewards at 20:23:01
Decent rusult, poor performance. One thing that is really pi55ing me off this season, not just with Lambert, but managers in general is blaming the schedule for injuries. Nolan hasn't played for about a month and Bishop haven't played for a couple of weeks. It was also clear that Bishop's injury was caused by a player kicking him. That could happen weather you've played 1 game or 50! It is what it is this season due to covid so managers at all levels need to stop bleating about it and get on with it in my opinion |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 4-1 Burton Albion - Match Report at 17:26:05
Great result and performance. Onwards and upwards! Don't wanna be pedantic, but didn't Judge score against Accrington so it's not his first home goal as the report suggests |
| News Comment | Defender Smith and Academy Scholars Released at 00:47:39
Luca Vega was on loan at my local club Lowestoft earlier in the season. Did OK, but didnt look anything special. Ware and Marshall were on loan at Lowestoft last season. Both didnt fairly well. Thought Marshall looked the best of the three. He may have a career at Conference or League 2 level |

What a great honour for our club to have this at the ground for our closest game to Remberance Day. I will certainly go to the fanzone with my 13yo son and make a.donation. Well done to whoever organised this. |
| News Comment | Knudsen: McCarthy Leaving Has Effect on My Future at 21:00:09
'Staggeringly average'.. a view clearly shared by the Danish Manager. Knudsen may not be Roberto Carlos, but his effort and commitment (as almost every player under MM) cannot be questioned. Although i don't agree with much of what MM says in interviews. The use of the word "numbskulls" seems more than apt for a large proportion of the comments on this thread. I will always support any player who shows commitment to the ITFC cause. Save your ridiculous, unfounded comments to the Leon Bests of this world |
| News Comment | Hull Match Off at 15:25:17
Karls dad. It's not just the pavements around the ground. It's the transport network. Do u expect ME to pay for every road between here and Hull to be cleared? I live in Lowestoft and wasn't looking forward to the journey down the A12, so god knows how the Hull supporters were thinking. For once, the club make a sensible decision in good time to avoid any wasted journeys, but there are still some smart alecs who will look to knock everything the club does even when they get it right |
| News Comment | McCarthy Denies Aiming Tirade at Fans at 15:49:08
So all these "supporters" calling Mick a disgrace for swearing have never ever sworn inside a football ground in their lives? I'd rather a manager who shows passion when we score what, at the time, we all thought was an 89th minute winner away from home in a local derby then one who just stands there showing no emotion. |
| News Comment | Wolves Eyeing Bialkowski Move at 15:47:53
christiand - as I said, Bart is clearly the better keeper, but huge void? I would disagree. I personally thing Gerken gets a tough ride from some supporters. There was a spell, not sure if it was early last season, or the season before, when he was outstanding and lost his place due to injury. What sets Bart apart now, is how he has improved his consistency and cut out the "rushes of blood" that were prevalent in his game when he first arrived. I would say he is now our best keeper since Richard Wright's first spell at the club. |
| News Comment | Wolves Eyeing Bialkowski Move at 15:16:44
While undoubtably we don't want Bart to leave - as he is clearly our best player, I don't understand all the antagonism towards Gerken on here. Until last season, when Bart improved his consistentcy, there really wasn't a lot to choose between the two keepers. Bart is clearly number 1 now, but Gerkan is a more than capable goalkeeper in my opinion |
| News Comment | Play-Off Semi-Final Dates Set at 11:11:50
Bolton have only lost 4 times at home all season. Rotherham beat Boro the other night. NO game is a gimme in the Championship. All you moaners need to get a life. COYBs!! |
| News Comment | Town Topic: The Greatest Derbies at 14:15:19
First season of the Premier League. Four days before Christmas. 2-0 win at Carrot Road, Kiwomya and Thompson the scorers. My first away EA derby. I seem to remember the second goal came about 2 minutes from the end and a Town supporter invaded the pitch and gave Jason Dozzell a ITFC bobble hat and he spent the closing minutes playing with it on!.. Or is my memory playing tricks on me? |
