A very good result against a very average team at best. Thought we should have won by a much bigger score line as the difference in class was evident. On a slightly negative note, how very poor was Freddie Ladapo today!! Probably as inept performance that I’ve ever seen in an Ipswich shirt for the last 2/3 seasons. Hirst is different class and I really hope that we don’t regret not getting that quality striker that I think we are desperately missing. Fingers crossed that Hirst is fit and ready to play every week. |

Worrying times
Been a season ticket holder for 20+ seasons and as much as I want to believe it's going to get better I'm not sure I'll be going back. Just feel like there is no teeth to my football club any longer! Even when we sign good players they seem to deteriorate at the club🥴🥴.
Talking about Jackson going to Bournemouth at the start of the season, not sure he'd get in my pub side at the minute, absolutely shocking and if Andre Dozzell”s name was Andre Smith he'd never get a game for town.

Very happy with what's happening at our football club !! Lots of positive deals at the right level of spending!! I think Mick should take a bit of credit as he signed the players we are now able to sell on for decent money and give the new manager the backing he's currently getting!!

If anyone thinks that our club is all of a sudden going to be miles better off without McCarthy then I think you're going to be seriously dissapointed!! Although I admit the football can at times be a bit drab and yes McCarthy can be pig headed and stubborn but on the whole with the budget he's had and the money he's spent I think he's done a pretty decent job!! We are trying to compete with teams spending 2,3,4,5 million pounds on a player and he just hadn't had that opportunity to spend that kind of money which is essential if you're going to get out of the championship!! Yes I understand that the football club loses money every year but the blame lies entirely with Marcus Evans for me!! We pay as fans as much as anyone in the championship and he doesn't invest back into the club for me. Evans is the problem not McCarthy and I believe if Mick was given the budget of other top half championship sides I believe we would be right up there competing at the top of the table and to be fair we aren't too far away from doing that and he's been given next to nothing as a transfer budget!! Give the gaffer some money and a 2 year plan and if it's still not working then that's the time to get shot of him but at the minute he doesn't deserve the stick that he's getting off some fans!! MICK IN!!!! 100% INVESTEMENT NEEDED OR EVANS OUT!!! |
