Sorry but shouldn't the players be paying whatever their agents are getting out of their pockets?

McKenna: It's a Really Big Fixture

We need to start the game running, not pedestrian, strolling about football. Walton needs to speed up his distribution, tippy tappy passing in our half when we're 3-0 up please.

Cook: We Deserved to Win
at 19:44:49

A draw was a fair result, Oxford played some nice football first half, winning most of the second balls, we huffed and puffed but never got going bar the couple of chances. Much better second half but we don't test the keeper enough for my liking. Clements excellent debut, burns very quiet, one of Nsialas slips is going to cost us a goal soon and his distribution is not good. For me Evans doesn't do enough in midfield, doesn't win many tackles, gives it away too much and doesn't drive forward, more work rate required. Not impressed with Oxfords time wasting and play acting. Bonne worked hard and won his share of aerial battles.

Ipswich Town 2-2 MK Dons - Highlights
at 11:44:40

Actually after the first goal the entire team went over to the players tunnel bar the keeper to celebrate the goal and took so long I was surprised the ref allowed them so much time. Second goal I can't remember, celebrating too much but pretty sure the same happened.

Detmer: Community Will Be a Big Aspect For Us
at 17:22:59

Midastouch, grown extremely thick skin in recent years, there is a small blue area up here in poringland, 6 of us town supporters live in the village and we've got our table in the railway tavern on a Friday to reminisce and to shield flack flying in our direction. If you're ever this way call in, safety in numbers!!

Detmer: Community Will Be a Big Aspect For Us
at 15:01:01

Midastouch, I too watched it last night, the majority of the time with goosebumps on my arm, tears welled up listening to Marcus Stewart on his thoughts about his time at Ipswich. Our demise has been so sad. Now hopefully in the near future I can look forward to good times, coming down on the train from Norwich with my son who's seen nothing but dross and celebrate together some fantastic memories. I've got goosebumps thinking about it.

Lambert: Negativity is Incredible
at 14:04:38

Tuesday night was my 7th visit to Portman Road plus a trip to Luton this season and every time I enter the ground I'm full of enthusiasm. After last seasons debacle I wasn't expecting goals galore and walking the league but have left the stadium very underwhelmed, in my opinion outplayed by the opposition, the lack of shots on target and chances created. After the first half dozen games I thought we hadn't got out of second gear and when we did we would steamroller teams but now am wondering if we have another gear. Atmosphere good considering the football on show. Mr Lambert all your spin is getting boring, what I see with my 2 eyes bares no resemblance to your post match reports.

Blue Sky Thinking
at 10:24:14

edmundo, ive just read the piece on turnstileblue and to say im shocked is an understatement. in my eyes evans doesnt give a flying f--k about the club, as the blog says the foundations of MY club are being slowly eroded away and like any building it WILL collapse. removing personnel who support and care about the club, non footballing people installed to run things, money spent just to paper over the ever expanding cracks, although i think mccarthy and his brand of football should get the hell out of MY club i guess his hands have been tied re money to invest but that shouldnt try to stop him trying to play entertaining football. after 17 seasons or so going no where would dropping down a league and playing with youth and a forward thinking young manager be so bad, is watching peterborough any worse than barnsley. id rather see 11 home grown try and play exciting football in a lower league, win or lose than grind out boring results with zero entertainment, we are not going to get in to the premier league with loanees and grafters, during the hull game if someone had asked me if id fancy popping down to legends to wash all the glasses id of jumped at the chance. going back to the turnsileblue blog if enough like minded people could get together say 100, print off the blog 100 times and stand outside each turnstile and around the ground at the next home game, thats 10000 which should cover every one in the ground so they can read and really see whats slowly happening to their club and prehaps with that many expressing their disapproval change might happen, fans consortium, local businesses getting together i dont know but weve got to do something to get rid of evans.

Town 1-1 Norwich - Match Report
at 19:13:54

1-1 fair result both teams enjoyed periods of domination norwich looking more composed on the ball as expected as we dont seem to be able to keep possession for long. the long ball still bothers me, sears is not going to win aerial battles and murphy possibly won a few headers today. surely his strength is his speed outstripping the norwich defence on a couple of occasions so penetrating balls from midfield is surely what is required rather than the hoof

McCarthy Proud of His “Horrible Bunchâ€
at 08:27:21

the fact we are where we are in the league shows to me what hard graft and team spirit can do but somewhere along the road dont we need to entertain people, attract new supporters. its £100 for me and my son for an afternoon at the match and for that id like to see something i cant see on a park on a sunday morning. im no expert but surely the more we have the ball the less chance of conceding, i dont get continual long balls to murphy who lets say wins 50% of the headers of which 25% fall to team mate, then the balls right back at us. if we do make the premiership id rather mick keeps the majority of the squad together, forget buying a few has beens on big money, get them to pass abit, if wego straight down so be it but clear our debts and move on.

Who Should My Son Support?
at 22:59:49

i was lucky enough to of grown up watching the town during the robson years off my own back my dad was into rugby. ive lived in norwich nearly 30 years now and have a 16 year old son. ive never pushed him to follow ipswich knowing the grief he would get from his peers but always lived in hope. then a couple of years ago he asked to come with me to a town game and the rest is history, he gets loads of stick from his mates but hes made his mind up. he goes to norwich games with his mates so enjoys the banter and atmosphere with them but hopes they lose. for me now a trip to portman rd with my son is special, bonding, even though the football on show has been dire but every now and then a game comes along that sticks in the memory. to the day i die i will never forget the sheer joy of both of us jumping around like lunatics, hugging each other, shouting at the top of our voices after tamas had scored against arsenal. im a lucky guy.
