Not really sure whether you have what it takes to achieve promotion. You couldn't do it with Shrewsbury so what makes you feel you have what it takes to achieve it with Ipswich? It was signing players of your standard that resulted in relegation so resulting in the losing mentality taking hold which is not going to be easily lost. With luck Lambert will have the nerve to get shot of you and your mates to allow a better atmosphere to return! |

None of the players brought to the club by Hurst have been worth wearing the shirt! The burden of carrying that load, in my opinion, screwed the form of the remaining senior players leading to the current position. When players of quality are released and not replaced with equal or better then the result is disaster. Unfortunately this guy is not up to the standard of carter-vickers who he replaced . Carter -vickers was turned down by Hurst as not good enough! Sad times for our club and with the players we have a worrying time ahead. |

All the sides being relegated think that they will bounce straight back, unfortunately that does not normally happen. Until we sign players to provide the goals once supplied by waghorn and garner all thoughts of bounce back can be forgotten. Our current crop of strikers appear unable to supply the necessary goals and with the leaky defence it is a lot heavier need for them to supply them. |

If the club had appointed a proper manager , rather than Hurst , we would not have signed the poor quality players he did and have tweeked the side not butchered it . With that scenario it is more than likely we would be relatively safe and able to continue a rebuild. It is players of Edwards ability being signed that has brought the club to the present level but it will need better than that to get promotion! |

I will be very surprised if Hurst manages, after the facts of his time at town emerge, anything above a pub side ! The man has destroyed the players who had been reasonably good by dividing the dressing room and being haphazard in his team selections and tactics! I am looking to lambert to correct these faults and establish a consistent system and form of team selection to enable the players to rediscover some confidence. If the players are going to be saving us they have to be encouraged not derided! He is gone now to recover from the nightmare! |

Hurst should grow some balls and resign ! He does not deserve to be sacked , he would get a pay off , as he wasted that money , having said he would spend the clubs money as if it were his own , on second class sh1te we can say he has had his payoff ! I feel we need to employ Ipswich orientated management , for example Nash and Hogg with a DOF to mentor them . They are ideally suited as they are in house and know the players , especially the younger ones , with a reasonable record with the U-23 side . Even if they were to get relegated the chances are a decent side would be in progress and the aim of utilising home grown players would be more acceptable . |

The only surprise will be if he has the nuts to resign! Promoting Hogg to 1st team coach is a method of trying to look as if he is accepting our existing staff is ok. We need to replace the deadly duo with Ipswich supporting management , not overloaded egos! |
