Euros or Ipswich

England win for sure, if we went down we would bounce straight back anyway and it would be good to go down with a better squad and spank Norwich on the way back up as well.

Worth a go on a freebie? Tonnes of experience, Northern Irish and Man United links so could work well with McKenna and could move into a coaching role too, would be a great mentor for Woolfenden etc

Yeah, I was just thinking worst case scenario if neither returns then who is a realistic replacement at a good age with possible sell-on value.

McKenna keen on Chelsea job
at 09:44 23 May 2024

Tbf the Chelsea job is probably the safest top 6 club job in the prem to take on without damaging your reputation really, everyone expects a Chelsea manager to be sacked within 12 months anyway so it's practically a free hit at a top job in the prem. As much as I don't think it's the right move for him I can totally get why he'd go, he'd get a huge wage (and payoff when he's sacked in 6-12 months) but if he succeeds with them he looks even better so it's a win win really.

Potential next manager market if the worst was to happen
at 11:27 21 May 2024

John Terry is going to be the next big manager but whether he's ready for the prem with a newly promoted team yet is debatable but I really think he has huge potential, he's been learning, doing his badges and taking time working as an assistant in some top jobs. Worth a risk at championship level but not sure right now. Vincent Kompany, Graham Potter, Steve Cooper, Rosenior, the Brighton assistant manager or maybe even Martyn Pert? He knows the players the play style how we train etc either way I hope McKenna stays but I also trust the club to find the right successor they will have been planning for this for a while now and no doubt have a very good shortlist.

There's following them and then reading into their posts too much and using it to start some sort of silly rumour.

People need to stop stalking players insta and reading too much into things. Just be patient and trust the process. I know the weather is sh1t but there is plenty of things to do instead of stalking football players social media lol

No chance on Whittaker.
Slim chance on Ng.
Worrall would be realistic as a loan.

Anticipated transfer business
at 11:58 29 Dec 2023

We 100% need a CB and at least 1 CF. We need ab experienced CB to help lead the line as it's all over the place at times and makes silly mistakes which leads to us conceding early goals and needing to score 2 goals to win. We need a proper leader back there someone experienced in seeing out games and just keeping them organised. With regards to a striker we definitely need at least one now Hirst is out and I think we need an experienced no nonsense lump up there as well as a younger pacey one. I've seen Danny Ings name mentioned as a possibility which I see as pure nonsense as his wages would be way too big for our budget but he is the type of player we need in someone with similar experience and similar style of player. Kieffer Moore on loan would be good. As for the other positions a back up for Leif would be good and a backup for Chaplin would be good too as both have looked a bit knackered recently and their performance levels have dropped a bit suggesting they could do with a little bit of a rest here and there.

Sky money in the Championship
at 07:46 11 Dec 2023

I'd say the average we get per ticket is closer to £10-15 given the fact a lot of tickets are on season ticket rates which work out to be around £15-20 a game and then the child tickets which are only around a fiver and child season tickets which will be even less. So I reckon it's more like 400-450k per home game realistically maybe even 500k if you add in the ridiculously high prices we charge some clubs to sit in the cobbold.
