While I agree with most Ayers having a good game, 2 did not Muric & Ali. Muris was playing in maybe the easiest game a keeper will have yet still attempted to give the opposition a free goal and if not for their woeful finish he would have all under no pressure, he is a liability who was brought in for a high price to be our No 1, put it looks like will had our pants well and truly pulled down on this signing. Walton has to play league games on this showing.Ali offers little even against lier level opposition, nowhere near level and did not even look championship either needs loan or sold..he is simply costing money and squad space.. |

Decent game overall , I did think Edmundson was sloppy a few times , i know it it pre-season but he made an numbe of bad calls others were not making to same extant , Delap...nice touches and clear skill , but not convinced a 20 mill striker as of yet. Agree with above about Ladapo , looked a different player , but do not se much game time for him to be fair. Woolfy , slowed things down as per , think he will be one of the back up defenders...sorry just dont rate him as prem defender (could be wrong on this one though , depends what KM wants of course. Harness had a decent game , aside from should have scored. Overll wne t away happy enough , of course be great if we get soem addotional quality in before window shuts and I am sure MA & KM know this. |

@Wool74 , while I agree with the aim of your post overall , less than 3 seasons is 2 seasons..and we have not had thousands of empty seats around any area of the ground in the last 2 seasons.
I also do not agree with those blathering on about season ticket holders ,most of these ticket holders sat through the MM years (and years before for many) watching for the last few years of his tenure watching dire turgid football , then Hurst as well , and for those complaining when they only want to cherry pick the odd 5 games or so..do one..is my honest answer !! you are reaping what you have sown,,in this case naff all!. |

Sadly I think he will be going , it would be so easy for him and MA to come out and say otherwise and end all the speculation the very fact they have not , suggests otherwise. A real shame as the journey is not done until we become stable in prem , and must be honest if he goes I would still say thanks and be greatfull but my estimation of him will fall , for the reason given "the job" is not done! |

Seen a few comments over differing platforms saying about giving Maidstone all the gate money. sorry but ITFC are not a charity , it,s costs money to put a game on with costs such staff, energy , policing , and while the sentiment is a good one, we are not a club / buisness that can just give away 100K a line with most buisness, that money would have to come from somewhere else. Maidstone will be getting 200K + (TV + gate money) so they are doing fine for travelling on up for the day. |

Unfortunately we will lose him for 2 games soon as very unlikely to get to yellow card cut off, before being booked again, and really don't want to rely on D.Ball in MF as he was dire, slow, lacked anything forward in terms of forward play, think KM called that wrong , and should have played Taylor, KM deemed fit to pay a hefty fee ( along with MA) for a player who seldom starts.!, but surely offers more than Ball. But glad we do t lose Sammy for AFCON he is teams heartbeat. |

I also totally agree about Woolfy far to often kills progress dead, followed by a pointless 10 yard pass. just to get it back, he simply allows teams to re-set. We need better ability taking it out than that. Sorry to say Hirst not good enough either need shots on target from a line striker, aware he also brings others into game but that is poor at times also, not saying he does not put in a hard shift he does and can't fault him there, simply not quite good enough for me !! |
