Seen a few comments over differing platforms saying about giving Maidstone all the gate money. sorry but ITFC are not a charity , it,s costs money to put a game on with costs such staff, energy , policing , and while the sentiment is a good one, we are not a club / buisness that can just give away 100K a line with most buisness, that money would have to come from somewhere else. Maidstone will be getting 200K + (TV + gate money) so they are doing fine for travelling on up for the day. |

Unfortunately we will lose him for 2 games soon as very unlikely to get to yellow card cut off, before being booked again, and really don't want to rely on D.Ball in MF as he was dire, slow, lacked anything forward in terms of forward play, think KM called that wrong , and should have played Taylor, KM deemed fit to pay a hefty fee ( along with MA) for a player who seldom starts.!, but surely offers more than Ball. But glad we do t lose Sammy for AFCON he is teams heartbeat. |

I also totally agree about Woolfy far to often kills progress dead, followed by a pointless 10 yard pass. just to get it back, he simply allows teams to re-set. We need better ability taking it out than that. Sorry to say Hirst not good enough either need shots on target from a line striker, aware he also brings others into game but that is poor at times also, not saying he does not put in a hard shift he does and can't fault him there, simply not quite good enough for me !! |

I tend to agree with NRB (overall) I can not see how we have improved the starting 11 overall from what we had at the end of last season, Williams offers options but will he displace Leif ..do not think so , Hutchinson , seems a tad lightweight so far. Slicker great potential but is ot better than Walton or Hadlky ,Scarlett is here on potential again. All that said I thinnk we will be fine and be mid table with current squad , and can go again in Jan if required. |

Statement from EPL / EFL - Of which Wrexam are not part of before so,mebody chucks them into the equation:
“From the start of Season 2022-23, all identified offenders will be reported by clubs to the police and prosecution could result in a permanent criminal record, which may affect their employment and education, and could result in a prison sentence.
“The FA will also be enforcing a tougher charging and sanctioning policy for clubs, which will reinforce these measures.
“Furthermore, anyone who enters the pitch and those identified carrying or using pyrotechnics or smoke bombs will now receive an automatic club ban."
Pitch invasions have been a criminal offence since 1991 but it usually goes unpunished during moments of celebration. However, things got out of control at the end of last season during promotion and relegation battles.
Crystal Palace manager Patrick Viera kicked out at an Everton fan who'd been goading him when a pitch invasion took place as Everton stayed up in the
Sheffield United's Billy Sharp was assaulted by a Nottingham Forest fan during celebrations in the second leg of their Championship play-off tie.
Those were just two incidents amid safety concerns at grounds last season.
"The rise in anti-social behaviour that we saw in stadiums at the end of last season was entirely unacceptable and put people's safety at risk," FA chief executive Mark Bullingham said.
"Together, English football has introduced new measures and stronger sanctions, for the start of the coming season, to send out a clear message that we will not tolerate this type of illegal and dangerous behaviour.

Would also say BA could help on this one , you want to influence the fan base , now is the perfect time as lets be honest the more eager / volatile fans are in section 6 where you have set up shop, thats is not a slight on them just being honest.! Use the influence you may have in a posative manner as you have many times already.

While I fully get wanting to celebrate and go on the pitch , it is the minority that do it and it may spoil it for the majority , as the players generally have to leave the pitch and fairly sure that do not want to be mauled by evey man and his dog , ...go nuts in the strand ,,sing til you can,t sing any more..and maybe.!..blue smoke galore!!! (I know some domt like this..but hey a celebration after all...hopefully) also with the end of season awards and the end of season walk taking place staying in the stands will allow everyone to celebrate and aslo mean there is no risk of EFL sanctions (unlikley I know) but possible...let the team , coaches and managment celebrate they all deserve that right, no matter the outcome of the game in style and safety , and we also have another team on the pitch and they should be given due respect imo.
Simply put my view - Stay off the pitch!! |

Good to win and keep clean sheet , yet we persist in trying to walk it in goal, also sitter missed by Broadhead, but won't moan about him as overall decent. I for one would currently be playing Jackson on right as Burns overall not at the races, also Ladapo instead of Hirst, who for some reason appears to be unable to control he legs .so far he has done little to justify a pick above Ladapo..Barnsley are a real danger as needing them to loose games as well....but overall happy. Will add MK stadium for all the grief it gets as a "franchise" is great..as staying in the hotel as are a few others..staff great, facilities great, good food as an away "weekend" it is top notch! |
