I haven't followed Birmingham much, but I see lots of chat about them copying what we did after League 1 promotion. But thats the exception rather than the rule. Look at Plymouth, 100 points in league 1 and they are back there 2 seasons later. |

Mckenna is now the 2nd longest serving manager in the division. Only behind Phil Parkinson at Wrexham.
KOA were talking about the number of new managers in the championship this year. Currently 8 teams will start with new managers in August (9 if Ruud goes at Leicester).
9 more teams have had their managers less than a year.

Think it's good news for us. Things are more uncertain for them now and every chance the new manager comes in and struggles. If they don't start well the pressure will be on with the end of parachute payments in sight. |

You'd imagine all 3 will be looking on at Brentford and hoping their next manager is a disaster. Seems the best hope now for a promoted team to stay up is for an established one to turn into a basket case.
Wolves and Everton have come close in previous seasons but still had enough quality to drag themselves away from danger |

Prepared to be whooshed here, I know the fee is 30m, but how much control would itfc have over sell on clauses, appearance bonuses etc for his new club? You'd imagine England call ups etc wpuld be more likely if he's at chelsea. Or is none of that possible? |
