Know loads of Wolves fans living up here and they all have nothing but praise for "Big Mick" as we have already christened him. They all felt that if Wolves had kept faith with him they would probably have stayed up.

Brilliant blog, absolutely hits the nail on the head, I've followed this club for 40 years and I honestly cannot see the way forward at this time. I hate this hire 'em fire 'em football manager culture but I do fervently believe that our club needs a change otherwise we will be playing league 1 football next season.

Sindre94, let me know if you're going to do Wolves away, I live in Staffordshire and will definitely be going to that one with my 16yr old son, I know loads of Wolves fans (and am in fact married to one!!!!!!) so have to do that game or I'll never hear the end of it, we'll meet you for a pint in in one of the away friendly pubs there (there are plenty, Wolves fans are generally a good laugh) |

Didn't renew but mainly due to that fact that I moved to Stafford area mid season and the travelling has simply been too much, will pick and choose my home games next season. |

To answer your question Sindre94,
Yes, its important that the next manager is English, we've had two foreign managers and neither one has taken us forward, sideways maybe but definitely not forward!
Is Psycho that bad, no, but he's untried really as a manager, he's done ok at under 21 level but failed dismally at club level, besides, he says he's not ready for the role so that takes him out of the equation.
Away from this, enjoy reading your posts, you generally talk a lot of sense ;-) |
