McCarthy: Great Advert for the Championship
at 20:57:34

Didn't look a penalty from the away end just looked liked he had been out-muscled. A good battling performance in the end especially after conceding that early wonder-goal but midfield looked so much slower with Skuse back in it.

Pablo Hits Back at Keane

Who doesn't love Pablo! His goal in the last minute against Coventry combining with Wickham is one of my favourite moments as a Town fan!!! Another example of how useless Roy Keane was at this club!

ITFC really impressive today, especially McGoldrick, Tunnicliffe and Berra! The second goal was also quality as well! Good to see a decent atmosphere at PR as well!

McCarthy: Huge Result
at 19:18:05

If you love his post-match interviews, they're nothing compared to what he says during the game, if you sit in the area next to the manager dugouts you get treated to stand-up comedy as well as football!!!

Edwards: Not All Squad Backing Boss
at 12:54:08

not being funny but if there is a new manager appointed soon, I doubt he would play Edwards at right-back or possibly even in the team, hence this public support, trying to save his own back as well as the manager's, because let's face it, he is a poor right-back, but he does put the effort in!

Jewell Still Has Backing of Bosses
at 16:49:13

there's no point in ST holders refusing to go to the match, they already have your money and Clegg and co will be laughing in your face! ST holders are better off going to the match and making their voices heard, at the start of the game, rather than waiting to when we are losing as it will make Evans take more notice!

Youngsters Could Go Out On Loan
at 12:09:17

I don't think it's too bad sending out youngsters on loan, enables them to play some competitive games, might also send a message to Jewell if they perform well, Drury done the same last season!

Loach Taken Out of Firing Line
at 12:06:50

the guy might have lost a bit of confidence, but that might be because his manager is publicly slating him in post-match interviews and pre-match interviews!!! Poor man-management! I suppose it's lucky we loaned in Henderson because ALB is shocking, everytime the ball goes anywhere near our box you feel he will make a mistake!!

Town Have Most Expensive Ticket in Football League
at 13:44:48

blues1 - I'm not slagging off the clubs, they are very good in some areas behind the scenes, but in terms of football produced on the pitch, and ticket prices are awful. For example, last season, to get in on the day for a match against Nottm Forest, was £36, to watch a match where Ipswich were in poor form and playing a team who hadn't scored in 7 hours, whereas in the Prem a team like Wigan often have low prices, play good football and you watching a high standard of football.

Mind you the club financially doesn't need to lower the prices, as they won't attract sufficient extra fans to come and watch, making it more financially viable to keep them as they are, even if that means the atmosphere at Portman Road does diminish game by game.

Town Have Most Expensive Ticket in Football League
at 12:36:29

people saying our tickets aren't expensive, well you're wrong!!! They never charge tickets at Category C, the majority of them are Category B and gamers around Christmas are Category A!!!! If you buy a ticket on the day now it's around £30, not including programme, cup of tea, food at HT etc. And ITFC are wondering why attendances are falling - no-one in their right mind currently would pay around £40 for 1 adult including all of the above things to watch that drivel lose at home week in week out!!!

Jewell: We'll Lift Players During Break
at 16:24:47

I've heard that Jewell has three months to save his job (because of loan duration), now if he is still here after three months, I think Ipswich will be in serious trouble and have a very real chance of being relegated, he has no clue tactically, can't motivate players, and can't even get off his bench during games, leaving his backroom staff to issue out instructions (which obviously aren't helping).

Murphy Loan Deal Could Be Done By Wednesday
at 12:27:43

Of course Jewell was going to try and sign him, there would be no-one to aim for from goal kicks anymore!

But I think this is a desperate signing, He has no pace, is unable to beat his man and most of the time he looks like he doesn't give a s***!

Jewell: Win Was Deserved
at 23:12:43

Murphy is a decent player, who has been very consistent throughout the season, he just had a quiet game on Saturday!

And saturday did show why we need a new number 1, I never feel confident when ALB is in goal!

You could say it was all about the three points, but it wasn't a great performance in front of the legends, and it was hardly a performance to encourage fans to come back to portman road, I think that's what some people are getting at!
