 | News Comment | Ex-Town Loanee Andrews Now Strong Favourite For Brentford Job at 18:43:15
McK wages and release clause are too high for a lot of clubs to take the risk. If he fails next season we will be lumbered paying his high wages if/when he is sacked. I think McK played Ashton and got himself a cracking deal but I don’t think he is worth it as he hasn’t proved himself at PL level yet and was actually quite disappointing last season |
 | News Comment | Brentford Linked With McKenna Move Should Frank Depart For Spurs at 06:17:23
McK had done a good job up until last season when sadly he failed to keep town in PL and he has blotted his copy book quite badly as a result. His stock isnt as high as it was prior to last season and I think MA and the American owners will probably be thinking if he wants to leave then let him as he has probably taken town as far as he can. His lack of managerial experience really showed last season also he must of played a part in the poor recruitment of Muric and a couple of others who didn’t make the grade. I find it surprising that we give two spaces in the squad to two midfield players , Cajuste and Phillips who were constantly injured throughout the season, if there was one area of the pitch we needed consistency it was the midfield and town didn’t have it. Thanks for all you have done for Town McK, but I think it’s taxi for McKenna |

We shouldn’t keep any players who don’t want to be at the club. If he wants to leave and the deal is right for the club then let him go. |

Gives the club the chance to improve the back room staff which probably does need some refreshing |
 | News Comment | McKenna: FFP Limits Promoted Clubs' Ambition at 21:00:20
Town spent over £100 million on transfer fees last summer. If we could have spent £150-200 million would we be looking at PL football at Portman Road next season. I doubt it as KMC’s team selection and tactics were naive at times and he did t seem to have a plan b, substitutions were like for like rather than tactical. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Luongo Will Be Moving On Having Been an Incredible Player For the Club at 20:57:04
It’s good to see KMc admit the midfield is an area that needs strengthening not just for next season but the seasons after. Even if town do manage promotion again next season I don’t see Morsy playing in the PL again. Cajuste and Phillips were injured way too much. We need a decent box to box midfielder and good defensive sitting midfielder to protect the defence a bit more. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Delap's Spent the Week Looking at His Options and Having Conversations at 18:14:20
The best signing the club made during the summer. Just a shame the rest of other players signed didn’t reach the heights we expected of them. Some under performed, some just weren’t good enough for PL football yet. I think McKenna will rue not bringing in more experienced players. £30 million seems like a bargain to me if he reaches his potential. Just hope we include a good sell on cause in any deal |
 | News Comment | McKenna: That We've Been Ahead in So Many Games is a Big Positive at 23:06:53
We would still be in the premier league next season if we had managed to bag all those points which is why being relegated is so disappointing as we proved at certain times we were competitive we just couldn’t defend a lead or score another goal to kill the opposition off. I do think not signing another experienced striker was a mistake |
 | News Comment | McKenna Commits Future to Town at 15:58:09
His stock has gone down and I doubt there are very few ciubs bigger than town that would want him. He has proven to be a good manager at championship level and lower but has fallen woefully short at PL level. One dimensional, no plan B, poor game management and none of the signings bar Delap have been good enough. If we aren’t in contention at Xmas for promotion at Xmas 2025, I see Ashton looking elsewhere. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: It's Not Necessarily About Ruthless Decisions at 18:06:22
Some of our squad who got us promoted are championship level at best. Luongo, Wolfie and maybe Chaplin. Also where is broadhead going to play? We have spent £90m and that could top £100m by Friday. Some tough decisions will need to be made this week |
 | News Comment | Town Could Look to Denkey Claim at 18:00:13
28 goals in 39 games and we dont have to wait 7 weeks for him to be fit. Also he is a lot cheaper than broja. We can’t afford a £90k a week player! |
