There has only been around 10 Mexican players who have played in the PL since its inception so it’s hardly a path well trodden, probably less in the championship. |

MA has stated the club is looking for a different type of player. Maybe that type of player isn’t as readily available, too expensive etc. there is the possibility that KM wants to sign PL players who aren’t going to make their clubs PL squads. Until those squads are released we don’t know who is is available for loan or permanent signing? |

Clearly whatever tacticians, coaches, and analysts we were using last season were good enough for league one/championship but not up to PL standards so if we want to get back into the PL and stay there, then maybe kM and MA have decided to let them go if they have an offer to go elsewhere and we bring in backroom staff with a different mentality and outlook which mirrors the new type of player MA says we are trying to recruit |

Brentford manager still not confirmed so is McK off and MA reluctant to sign players identified already as new manager may not want them?
Are we targeting PL players like last season and PL teams haven’t decided who they want to keep or sell yet and this is delaying transfers?
Are we just incompetent? MA has said they are looking to expand the recruitment dept, maybe we don’t have staff with the right skills and contacts to get the deals over the line especially players in foreign markets? |
