That was one of the worst individual performances I’ve ever seen at PR.

I get that.

This international break has come at a good time. So much work to do on the training ground.

Whilst I do tend to agree, it is frustrating that other teams seem to be able to completely refresh their squads and are able to “gel” straight away. Didn’t Derby have 8 new summer signings in their team today?

Phil - Are we still interested in James?

As an addition to Nunez, or was it a case of either / or?

Hopefully the former.

Is it greedy to want the Norwegian too? 😎 (n/t)

100% this. I’m surprised that nobody else seems to be picking up on the fact that we’re still a CM short - a backup/competition for Matisuwa. If he gets injured we’re budgered.

So who is partnering Cajuste?

The key word there being when “fit”.

Taiwo Awoniyi

With Forest looking close to signing a new striker, this would push Awoniyi down to 3rd choice.

Always rated him, think he’d be a great option.

I don’t think he has the physical / fighting attributes required to fill Morsy’s void imo. Hackney’s more of a creative CM in a similar mould to Cajuste (hence why I never thought we’d end up with both). We need an enforcer.

As Bloos says, how we’re at this stage (having spent £100m+ in the EPL), and ended up with Taylor & Humphries as our CM pairing in our first game, some serious questions need to be asked of our recruitment team.

Desperately need another physical CM (Hackney is not the answer). Morsy’s absence was incredibly evident.

Very, very lucky point tonight, but will take it and move on.

Bad move written all over it, especially if the rumoured fee of £30mil is correct. He’s done absolutely nothing to warrant that kind of fee. Desperation springs to mind.

Why do people feel the need to react so rudely to a post that 99% of people including myself fully understood.

Needless.

Revolut

I use it for holidays / weekend getaways as I just find it really handy for keeping a track of spending. I like to set budgets before I go away so I just transfer a set amount into my account. It’s really easy to move money from one place to another and the virtual card is available instantly and it’s all free. Very much recommend it if you like to budget for things like that.

I took the question as how would it benefit us overall.

Cajuste or Delap

The difference is we’re not going to see any financial return on Cajuste. Whereas Delap, that’s £25-30million added to the bank. We also know that we have a proven Championship striker in Hirst ready to come back in. Our central midfield will need completely revamping and Cajuste is on a different level. So, the answer is Cajuste.

Can anyone honestly see us staying up now?
at 17:29 22 Feb 2025

Sadly not. I think that was the final nail today, firmly hammered in by Wolves’ surprise win.

I cannot see any way in how we survive now, and it’s going to be a second season in a row that all 3 promoted teams have faced the drop, which just proves how much bigger the gulf is getting.

Had fairly high expectations pre-season (thought we’d compete better and predicted a 14th place finish). Oh well, the EPL is overrated anyway, much prefer the football league.

How are you finding this so difficult to understand?

If we beat Wolves we go a point ahead of them. Therefore, it’s in our hands.
