Wow, i havent commented on our transfer incomings as i have been largely underwhelmed, this puts a different slant on it, him and Matusiwa could be a a great midfield combo for us.
Nowt like leaving it to the last minute eh, great signing and am very relieved now.

Looked a better team when he was playing last year imo, and again just imo there were people playing in front of him because of the fees we had paid for them.
Did more than Clarke/Philogene put together, and looked like he was one of only a very few players who could cut it in the prem, should have played a lot more minutes.
Good player, and given what he did the last year we were in the championship, think we may regret this.

@blues1 - so, you are prepared to go into a championship season with Humphrey’s(IF HE IS CALLED BACK), A new signing ( who, let’s be brutally honest, no one has heard of), Jack Taylor and as you put it, one more signing.
Even if the Dutch fella is as good as John wark now, that midfield is nowhere near good enough for a championship slog, need ANOTHER 2 quality midfielders (with Sam going) as minimum, and like you say, another striker (or 2) |

@Skip73 don’t think anyone moaning at the midfielder as pretty much everyone saying (respectfully) that they haven’t heard of him, so he should be given a fair crack of the whip.
Kipre on the other hand is a different matter, couldn’t break into Leicester team, didn’t do much at West Brom and has largely gone on frees, that tells me everything I need to know about him, most underwhelming signing, bring on the midfielder though €18.5m fee paid so you would hope he’d be ok.

Can’t see why the Cajuste deal would be a hard one, why don’t we just offer the money we were going to have to pay if we stayed up, or even 2-3m more, if we are attempting to buy players that are good enough to get us promoted and play in the prem, then he is one for sure.
Even if we had to go to 20m it’s still a great deal, especially given that we paid more than that for Philogene |

Can’t believe he’s picked Swansea over Valencia orRangers IF they were interested in him, or a new contract with us,shows a lack of ambition as even in Scotland he was pretty much guaranteed European football/ crack at getting back to prem with us.
Personally, would have guaranteed him a start next season with us,as I rate him and would much rather have him in the team over Greaves. |

Do not care for this one, seems out more than in, and we would be signing him when he is allegedly out for 7-10 weeks.
There has to be someone better out than this, would try for Denky I think his name is, young and scored 23 last season.
Definitely need a striker before close of play today though, just imo we did not need Ogbenie, should have put his cost toward a centre forward. |
