Colchester United 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 22:05:46

Don’t care about this competition one jot, just keep giving the youngsters some game time(even if we keep progressing)
Also our away form is better than home generally so may not be a bad thing.

Gill: There Will Be Changes But We'll Still Be Strong
at 20:53:28

Seriously, agree with all the above comments especially @bettyblue, we’ve got to start putting our best team out whenever possible, this constant chopping and changing isn’t doing us any good. Even though we are top of the league I have watched us 6 times this season and though playing REALLY well in patches against Tranmere and Sunderland if we’re honest, we haven’t been that good so far, don’t need to mention Accrington/Rotherham-dire.
I really believe if we keep a settled team we will really start to play better and dominate games( which to be honest, with the squad we have, we should be doing anyway) and go on to pizz this league.

Lambert Tight-Lipped on Ward Return Claims
at 17:13:44

Absolutely not - we do not need another midfielder to rotate(especially one who hasn't done that much for us)
What we do need is a quality back up for KVY as we have seen what wingers(Edwards) playing as wing backs can do or rather cant do

Lambert on Rotation: We'll Be a Better Team For It
at 21:02:47

And I’m with you differentgravy.
Teams like Wycombe/Fleetwood who are doing well and haven’t got the luxury of rotating must be wondering what the fekin he’ll we are playing at.
How come woolfenden can go out on loan and pretty much play every game(in THIS division) yet has to be dropped here, despite being our best cb imo.
SURELY you play your best 11 if you can as playing a player who is not as good as others just to keep them up to speed/keep squad fresh or whatever reason is ludicrous(bar injuries of course)
I don’t want to be critical because season has been great so far but if we’re honest we haven’t played REALLY well consistently a lot this season.
The games I’ve seen Sunderland/Tranmere/Mk dons we’ve been great one half and pretty much lousy the next, Rotherham and Accrington we didn’t muster 10 mins across both games let alone a half.
PLAY BEST PLAYERS ALL THE TIME WHEN POSSIBLE, everyone else in this league does, can you imagine if Peterborough dropped one of there front 2

Ipswich Town 0-2 Rotherham United - Match Report
at 22:28:07

Not going to just slate us and lambert but that was a terrible performance,no one played well.Lambert needs to find his best team and stick to it wherever he can and ditch this rotation policy(we looked lost tonight)
Woolfenden to start
Keane not good enough(scoring record tells you that) and sears cant come back quick enough
Huws to start more
Still on the positive side we are joint top

at 16:14:48

Oh god I hope he hasn't put the hex on himself, a fit Emyr is probably the best player in this league.
An absolute key player for us and if he can play 3/4 of the games left we will be so much the better for it,hope he plays tonight. COYB

Sunderland and Peterborough Linked With Wilson
at 13:20:21

Would certainly give him deal to end of season as I’ve been impressed with the games I’ve seen him in.
Having said that WHEN not if we get promoted this season I’m not sure I would want him/Chambers as potential 1st choice centre back combo next year.
Nothing against him as I said I’ve been impressed by him but championship is MILES tougher league than where we are at minute, so this is an area I would hope we would strengthen for next season.
I would also make Garbutt ABSOLUTE PRIORITY and would like to see woollfenden one of main centre backs for next year as have been even more impressed by him, I also don’t go along with that crap about being too young to be 1st choice, if your good enough then you’re old enough and to me he looks easily good enough. I thought after watching Blackburn game last season he was desperately unlucky to be shipped out and should have had more game time with us, particularly how we defended/played last year

Taylor: Norwood Operation a Success and Set to Be Fit for Accrington

For the sake of 1 game don’t rush him back(would rather him miss a game than come back too soon and aggravate injury and miss more games).
Beside, we have more than enough quality to beat accy.

Wycombe Game Likely to Be Postponed Due to International Calls
at 12:23:11

I am on the side of playing the game, like a few have pointed out(yes I appreciate all players are needed) that only Downes would be really missed.
I wonder how many who are in favour what their thoughts would be if we then lose the re-arranged game.
@cornishblu - great post, couldn't agree more.
To cap it off we have a strong enough squad to play and win game which is great, COYB.
I also wouldn't be able to make game because I work most Saturdays but will go to game if re-arranged so on a selfish point it works for me.

Woolfenden Determined to Keep Place

He should definitely not be the one to drop out of the side if he keeps his early season form up.
I would like to see a woolfenden and nsiala(when fit) partnership given a chance.

Garbutt Back in Training

Absolutely @brainbox, he was brilliant against Sunderland and we didn't look half as good when he went off even though we replaced him with Judge.
IMO if he hadn't have been forced off we would have won that game - COMFORTABLY

Don’t think this cup is waste of time, don’t get me wrong I certainly wouldn’t be playing any of our main players, but this is ideal to get players like huws/Nolan much needed game time also nsiala in a few weeks. Plus the likes of Dobra/ndaba/el mizouni should all be playing every game even if we make it to Wembley to give them experience.
