Wow, not wanting to sound negative but this was not what I was expecting( if it’s true of course) or indeed wanting.
Sorry but if we are going for a premier league push we must be aiming higher than this.
I’ve never knocked the clubs signings since kmck been in charge as largely they have been excellent, but this is not good, seriously underwhelmed. |

Can understand people miffed about Hirst maybe missing out( I’m in that category as not sure whether Ladapo is championship level) but what I don’t understand is that EVERY time Baggott plays he gets rave reviews and sometimes mom, would be a blow if Burgess does miss out as for me, he has had a great start to the season and been excellent. But I’d rather play Baggott if needed over Dom Ball as some are saying might play, it’s not as if he’s being chucked in at the deep end, as if my memory is right he has played in championship before? |

OMG I can't believe some of the comments on here,
Jugsy - there is nothing morally wrong here - as the club is not FORCING anyone to buy anything ( I didn't like red kit from last year so didn't buy it)

Davidwyard - fully understand your point about the kids, but again the club isn't forcing anyone to buy anything ( do feel sorry for parents with kids though)

People have to realise that it's a business and will be run accordingly, I'm lucky enough to be able to buy the shirts if I want but only buy if I like them, I'm happy to pay EVERY year if I like them as it looks like these owners are going to spend some serious cash on players and I feel I'm doing my tiny bit to keep that going.
I do appreciate not everyone can afford a new kit every year so do what muhrensleftfoot has done, pick your favourite and buy that one, it'll be cheaper 😃 |

Think I may rock the boat with this one but this is my opinion -
I am sick of hearing how lucky we are to have McKenna( I swear to God the way some people go on about him feels like we've signed SBR as manager) truth is he is extremely LUCKY to come to a club like ours. It's his first job in management ffs and he's obviously achieved nothing yet, where else could he go and manage in front of over 25,000 fans most weeks with a board giving him the backing he's had.
@ OldFart - it's quite easy to see why we are in a bit of a rut now, teams have worked out how to play us ( Lincoln x2)as we seem to have no plan b and just seem to change personnel in games rather than formation TWO UP TOP FFS.
Having said that I am most certainly not against him and indeed glad he is our manager, but a little perspective is needed.
I'll tell everyone something too, if he doesn't get it right and get us promoted ( this or next season)the owners won't put up with it and he'll be out as they've already stated what they want and backed heavily, unfortunately it's a business not a sport.

Wes your talking bolocks, he's not even best Welsh player - Giggs, absolutely brilliant when he left spurs for Madrid for about 3/4 seasons, but what's he done the last 3 seasons, elite players do it ALL their careers, just take a look what Messi did in last world cup and what bale did - pretty much non existent in all 3 games.

Providing we get broadhead I would then let ahadme go, no point in keeping someone who won't play and with 4 in front of him he's not going too.
IF we get Whittaker I would also let Jackson go as don't need more than 4 strikers.
I would rather us sign mcguiness than Whittaker if I'm honest.
Work with an Everton fan and he's saying fans are not happy at all that they haven't given him a proper chance- bodes well, if we get him 2 great looking signings imo in the area we desperate to improve on 👠|

Great Harness dropped again and Jackson in, cannot understand how Jackson starts a game, ok Ladapo hasn't exactly been banging them in but his hold up play is much better(which may be important today)than Jackson's and he runs his nuts off every game.
I could see the logic(if he has to play)of bringing Jackson on for last 20 mins when their defence is tired to use his alleged pace.
Really hope I'm being pelted later as Jackson has got a hat trick but sadly can't see it.
Anyhow COYB, wouldn't be disappointed today if we draw. |
