 | News Comment | Aluko: We Can Handle Expectation at 21:56:35
Anything other than promotion either auto/play offs will be an abject failure( considering players brought in from a higher league- chaplain, Morsey, Walton, edmundson, Edwards and aluko) imo. Just hope McKenna is going to chose a settled team this season and stick with it,didnāt concede many and looked strong at back last season because (barring injuries/suspension) it was same players week in week out pretty much. The same cannot be said about midfield and forward with a different set of players virtually every game - aluko was the one, remember him having an absolute blinder in one game getting mom and then not playing for another 4/5 games. And ffs 2 up top please |
 | News Comment | John-Jules: Ipswich Style of Play Suits Me at 20:28:47
Calm down billericayblue, this sites not all about YOU, others are allowed their opinions whether you agree or not. Didnāt we go 5/6 games without scoring, how many goals did we score last 10 games of season is the point Bossman is trying to make I think, if you stop and think for a second heās probably got one too! |
 | News Comment | Town Sign John-Jules on Loan at 20:17:18
Wow!!! Just curious Bazza8564 and this is not a negative( before anyone slaps the mark down) but what are you basing ā a front line that will challengeā on. Jackson - poor and not looked like scoring most of time heās been here Ladapo has an okayish record at this level Jules hasnāt scored many on any of his loan forays and they have all been at this level. Personally, after last season where we seemed to get most players in that we went for,Iām a little disappointed we havenāt set our sights higher in the strikers. Jackson- donāt care how many down marks but for the life of me I cannot see what kmc sees in him-just look at his record for us Ladapo- I like this signing Jules - letās be honest has done nothing of note in his shirt career so far - and herein lies the problem, these are not the type of player(imo) we should be signing if we are to get out of this sh1thole of a league. Donāt know the answer as good strikers cost good money |
 | News Comment | Town Closing in On Walton Signing at 13:21:20
He can see the ambition at the club ThaiBlue, Luton not really going anywhere and we look like a good project to actually get to prem, letās get this deal done REALLY important signing, best keeper since Bart and imo equally as good |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm Bonne to Stay For Season at 01:03:18
This is great news and by what heās saying he seems desperate to play for us, well done MC great to see players with his type of attitude as heās dropping a division, letās have a couple from you later to celebrate COYB |
 | News Comment | McKenna Out to Make it Three Wins in Three as Town Travel to Bolton at 13:34:20
@BossMan - why would you want to change a team thatās winning games, look how well that worked for Cooke and especially Lambert, donāt change it if it aināt broke I say. If we were to be 3-0 up at half time again THEN I would be looking to give more game time to players- piggott is the one for me as he hasnāt been given any where near a fair crack here yet with just fleeting appearances here and there, my concern is if Norwood/Bonne get injured heās coming in with very little game time, Iāve seen posts saying heās done nothing in the games that he has been involved in, unfair for me as he can obviously do it in this league with goal tally last season. COYB same result as last week will sort all our weekend right out |
 | News Comment | Bonne: Norwood? I Love the Guy! at 11:41:20
Agreed blues1, how anyone can say heās been a massive disappointment when heās played hardly any games is beyond me, should stick with Norwood, Bonne and piggott and rotate those 3 accordingly, giving them all regular games and able to form partnerships, with lots of games now coming up and with the odd injury/suspension this should not be a problem |
 | News Comment | Bonne: Norwood? I Love the Guy! at 10:40:24
Great post peewee, short career and in his 30s now so needs to make most of short time left. Whatever anyone thinks of him he scored goals, beattiesbackpocket - the Ipswich team he has been top scorer for 2 seasons has hardly been a good team has it. Keep him fit, keep him in team with 2 up top and get us up the table hopefully |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-1 Rotherham United - Half-Time at 21:13:54
If there was ever a game that showed us exactly where we are, itās this one 2-0 down and comprehensively outplayed in EVERY department, never mind heās just made a tactical sub - weāve swapped our left back. Cook is an absolute joke, 2 down and still playing 1 up top- abysmal |
 | News Comment | Walton: Win at Pompey Sends Out Statement to Other Teams at 17:44:25
Even when we win 4 - 0 away some people canāt resist having a dig-my favourite is ā Portsmouth were terrible tonightāšš not Ipswich played really well. Iām sure if we had lost 4-0 everyone would be saying Portsmouth played really well though šš¤£ |
 | News Comment | Portsmouth 0-4 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 22:13:16
Wow, if Iām honest I didnāt see that coming, well done everyone an absolutely amazing result.I even started to RELAX at 0 - 4 šš COYB more of the same Saturday with the same starting 11 š |
 | News Comment | Bonne Left Out of Zimbabwe Squad at 17:29:25
Get the games played now blues1, we have the quality to beat Shrewsbury without 2 players, remember what happened under Lambert when we postponed games needlessly when we were on a good run. 3 games 8 goals 2 clean sheets 7 points from 9 Despite what lots of people said about Saturday, we played well against another team who I expect to be up there at seasons end |
