Yeah, it was the number of Birmingham tickets sold in the first window, should have made that clearer, have updated!

How long do you spend sitting in front of a computer every day?
at 11:13 28 Jul 2025

Same as many, probably 8/9 hours a day (aka too much).

Keep pondering on getting a standing desk so at least I can spend some of the day not sat, something like https://flexispot.co.uk/adjustable-standing-desk-pro-series.html

Possibly related, a few of the tickets that are still available are in an area that was previously 'reserved', could be planet-blue tickets are put back into the online mix if it turns out there's no one there queuing for them in-store.

Interesting to know, thanks. I guess they probably know a pretty decent estimate of the number of 'regulars' who always go in-store to purchase.

25/26 Bromley (Carabao Cup) Away Match Ticket Sales 'Profile'
at 10:36 28 Jul 2025

UPDATE: Post edited; after the initial sell out a handful of tickets re-appeared and made it through to the 30+ window. Adjusted the OP to reflect that.

The first Away Carabao Cup Fixture of the 25/26 Season; away to Bromley.

The fixture fixture has sold-out in the second sales window (30+) and is likely to remain so, the Ticket Sales 'Profile' for the fixture is as below.

Summary:

The Club announced an allocation of 497 tickets had been provided, the total seat-map count aligned with that.

The seat-map suggests 14 wheelchair + assistant spaces, a further 84 seats unavailable for purchase. There's no mention of a Ballot so it's most likely the whole of the 84 'unavailable' seats are for Club-allocation or steward seating.

There were 399 seats made available for sale in 'points-based' sales windows.

386 (96.74% of available seats) seats sold in the 31+ window.

13 (3.26%) seats sold in the 30+ window.

Points of note:

* No away point awarded for this fixture.

* A one-off 31+ Window created for this fixture due to the small allocation.

* With at least 488 members on 31+ points (based on the Birmingham sales volume in the 30+ window) and only 399 tickets available, even with the one-off 31+ window this was always likely to sell out in the first window, in the end only a handful made it through to 30+.

25/26 Birmingham City Away Match Ticket Sales 'Profile'
at 15:52 22 Jul 2025

The first Away Ticket Sales Profile of the 25/26 Season and the first Championship fixture for Ipswich; away to Birmingham City.

The fixture fixture has sold-out in 25+ Window and is likely to remain so, the Ticket Sales 'Profile' for the fixture is as below.

Summary:

The Club announced an allocation of 2000 tickets had been provided, the total seat-map count pretty much agrees with running to 2006 seats.

The seat-map suggests 42 wheelchair + assistant spaces, a further 230 seats unavailable for purchase. Probable breakdown of the 'unavailable' seats; 40 for the Ballot (which remains at 2%), 190 for 'Club Allocation' or steward seating.

There were 1734 seats made available for sale in 'points-based' sales windows.

488 (28.14% of available seats) seats sold in the 30+ window.

1246 (71.86%) seats sold in the 25+ window.

Points of note:

* The first competitive fixture of the new season is always going to be a popular one, but a televised Friday evening fixture, in the school holidays, with no novelty value to the trip (as will be the case with many fixture thhis season, we've visited fairly recently) may have tempered sales a little.

* For our Premier League Season the magic number of points to start the season with for a guaranteed 'Premier League Tour' was 14, it looks like it is going to be much higher this season thanks in part to the reduced allocations of the Championship. I can imagine 35+ or 40+ Windows being needed fairly quickly.

* For this fixture at least (remains to be seen if it continues), the Ticket Office are running two Sales-Windows per day (10am and 3pm), fingers-crossed I can keep on top of it throughout the summer hols...

I had exactly this experience just over a year ago. Package price doubled to around £80 a month when offers etc expired. Best they would offer me going forward as a Sky Q customer was about £10 off.

I submitted cancellation by phone, expecting they'd try a bit harder in 'retentions', offered nothing more than a 'sorry to see you leave' on the phone, and didn't hear a peep from them ever since.

Leicester City Away Ticket Sales 'Profile'
at 11:25 8 May 2025

Belatedly (the end of season slump is affecting me) the 'Profile' for the last Away Ticket Sale of this season is here.

I hope some of you have found it interesting, I'll try and capture the whole season next season (annoyingly I missed the first two matches of this season!).

The Leicester Away fixture has sold-out at the 5+ Window, so the Ticket Sales 'Profile' for the fixture will be as below.

Summary

The Club announced an allocation of 3292 tickets had been provided, my total seat-map count ran slightly lower at 3290.

The seat-map suggests 44 wheelchair + assistant spaces, 262 seats unavailable for purchase (probable breakdown; 65 for the Ballot, 197 for 'Club Allocation' or steward seating).

There were 2984 seats made available for sale in 'points-based' sales windows.

1818 (60.92% of available seats) seats sold in the 30+ window.

192 (6.43%) seats sold in the 25+ window.

91 (3.05%) seats sold in the 20+ window.

182 (6.10%) seats sold in the 15+ window.

516 (17.29%) seats sold in the 10+ window.

185 (6.2%) seats sold in the 5+ window.

Points of note:

* This is the first Premier League fixture to make it to the 5+ Window.

* Relegation confirmed pre-sale, coupled with 'been there in fairly recent history' and 'will have an opportunity again next season', along with no 'last game at Goodison' draw, saw sales in all higher Windows drop significantly.

* Many thanks to those of you who've sorted me out with occasional tickets throughout the season, very, very, much appreciated!

I found ticketmaster would 'glitch' and move me from the 'club' presale to the 'album' presale (which is sold out), causing the map to go completely grey.

Re joining the queue via the link in the email from the club seemed to get me back in with tickets available. There's still plenty there to buy as of 5mins ago.

Everton Away Ticket Sales 'Profile'
at 12:54 4 Apr 2025

The Everton Away fixture has sold-out today (15+ Window) and looks like it will remain so, so the Ticket Sales 'Profile' for the fixture will be as below.

Summary

The Club announced an allocation of 2967 tickets had been provided, total seat-map count ran slightly higher at 2976.

The seat-map suggests 40 wheelchair + assistant spaces, 256 seats unavailable for purchase (probable breakdown; 60 for the Ballot, 196 for 'Club Allocation' or steward seating).

There were 2700 seats made available for sale in 'points-based' sales windows.

2169 (80.33% of available seats) seats sold in the 30+ window.

273 (10.11%) seats sold in the 25+ window.

166 (6.15%) seats sold in the 20+ window.

92 (3.41%) seats sold in the 15+ window.

Points of note:

* This fixture is the last ever 3pm Saturday Premier League fixture at Goodison.

* Goodison Park has a high number of Restricted View seats; 252 of the seats made available to purchase (equivalent to 9.3%), only Crystal Palace has more this season.

* Sales in 30+ have increased since the Newcastle Sale, but show no growth following the previous Chelsea sale.

* 20+ showed slight growth, possibly because a good number of tickets reached the 15+ Window for Newcastle, so a noticable number of members will have managed to move up to the next window.

Newcastle Away Ticket Sales 'Profile'
at 10:27 31 Mar 2025

The Newcastle Away fixture has sold-out today (10+ Window) and looks like it will remain so, so the Ticket Sales 'Profile' for the fixture will be as below.

Summary

The Club announced an allocation of 3204 tickets had been provided, total seat-map count ran at the same.

The seat-map suggests 32 wheelchair + assistant spaces, 333 seats unavailable for purchase (probable breakdown; 64 for the Ballot, 269 for 'Club Allocation' or steward seating).

There were 2839 seats made available for sale in 'points-based' sales windows.

1938 (68.26% of available seats) seats sold in the 30+ window.

268 (9.44%) seats sold in the 25+ window.

152 (5.35%) seats sold in the 20+ window.

265 (9.33%) seats sold in the 15+ window.

216 (7.61%) seats sold in the 10+ window.

Points of note:

* This fixture is the largest Premier League allocation this season by some distance.

* This is the first Premier League fixture that's shown a decline in purchases in the 30+ window (probably an element of apathy creeping in and it's a looong way to travel).

* As a result of lower than usual sales in the top window, combined with the large allocation, this fixture provided a rare opportunity for 10+ to have a crack with a a decent number of tickets making it that far.

* This is the first fixture in quite a while where the 15+ Window passed without selling out, It's as good an indication as we've seen on the rough numbers eligible in 25+, 20+, 15+, fairly small numbers, suggesting a high number of eligible Members in 30+, a high number in 10+, but not so many in between.

60-odd sold this afternoon and that's a bit unusual, usually there's a rush at 10am, a small lunchtime run and the same in the evening, but it's been a fairly slow but steady stream all through the day today.

Could be an element of people being caught surprised that tickets were actually going to be available for them in this Window as usually there's only a handful, if any, make it as far as this.

There's still just over 300 tickets remaining even after the initial 10am 'rush' for the 15+ Window, so I'd say it's very likely that there'll be 200+ make it as far as 10+.

Chelsea Away Ticket Sales 'Profile'
at 10:17 24 Mar 2025

The Chelsea Away fixture has sold-out today (15+ Window) and looks like it will remain so, so the Ticket Sales 'Profile' for the fixture will be as below.

Summary:

The Club announced an allocation of 3065 tickets had been provided, total seat-map count ran at the same.

The seat-map suggests 60 wheelchair + assistant spaces, 268 seats unavailable for purchase (probable breakdown; 60 for the Ballot, 208 for 'Club Allocation' or steward seating).

There were 2737 seats made available for sale in 'points-based' sales windows.

2235 (81.66% of available seats) seats sold in the 30+ window.

306 (11.18%) seats sold in the 25+ window.

144 (5.26%) seats sold in the 20+ window.

52 (1.9%) seats sold in the 15+ window.

Points of note:

* This was the largest 'announced' allocation this season (although the seatmap for Old Trafford suggested there were closer to 3100 tickets available rather than the announced 3000 for that fixture).

* This is the first 'normal-ish' fixture for a while (Premiership, full 3000-ish allocation, weekend), being a London game at a club we've not visited for 14 years, it should give a reasonable view on membership distribution in the top few Windows (albeit we're probably seeing a slight drop-off due the unlikliness of survival, also Sunday afternoon with rail-replacement buses won't help).

* Migration through bands towards a top heavy distribution continues (30+ grows, 25+ and 20+ shrink).

* With a few tickets dropping through to 15+, some of those with the fastest clicking might have had a chance to pick up an elusive extra APP to break into 20+, but even so; Newcastle and Everton are probably 'safe' for 20+.

* If somehow we're still in the running by the time we get to Leicester (unliklely, but you never know), the criticality of the match would probably see a higher take-up in the upper Windows (currently in 30+ you can skip a few matches without fear of losing your purchase ability), which may see 20+ struggling to guarantee a seat. Same may be true simply because it's the 'last away of the Season'.

* Everton fixture will be up for sale in the next few weeks, if anyone might be able to help me out with a ticket drop me a line...

Suspect so.

Villa (2715 seats for sale) sold out in 20+ but only very late afternoon, suggesting supply vs demand was not far off parity in 20+ and higher.

Availability for Chelsea is slightly higher (2737), upwards movement opportunities from 15+ have been extremely limited since then (only 170-ish for Man U made it to 15+). There may also be a slight decline in demand as chances of survival decrease (though possibly tempered by ease-of-access of London games).
