Every time someone gets the ball in the final their we just lose it. Each time Parrott or Edwards try a run we lose it. Judge doesn't see much of the ball that far up the pitch. Jackson can't play the role he's been given.
I understand not everything will come off and don't mind us trying, but at the moment literally nothing is working.
We need someone in the #10 who is an attacking midfielder who is comfortable on the ball.
With this formation I'm never totally sure who is meant to track the additional runners down the sides. Presumably one of the midfield 2 is meant to drop back rather than Edwards come all the way back?
I was watching the video of Parrott training with us on Twitter. Part of the training is completely unchallenged 1 on 1 finishing. I find this style of training so odd as the time and space available just does not ever happen in a real life situation. Always found it pointless, same with shooting practice where they take a few touches with nobody closing and smash it in.
I think when TC was here he was known for trying to replicate realistic finishing situations and you could really see that pay off.
Of course, they could just be doing it for the camera to show him off a bit.
