How to meet people
at 20:23 22 May 2018

I have covered the prospect of Bowls which seems to be progressing nicely, though grow quite confused about how to meet people socially. Now school and service industry jobs have passed me by, I find myself overly comfortable with my alone time. I realise the pub is an option of sorts, but I live in a village where everyone knows everyone, and you don't just insert yourself into a conversation, and lets be honest pubs are mostly glorified (or glorified) restaurants now a day.

Just to be clear this isn't trying to find someone romantically as I am on a promise from Sprucemoose, though genuine confusion about where to go, and how to interact with people on a social basis- seems as I have been in a self made bubble for quite a while.

Lampard did get offered - so I wasn't far out.

He was offered 300k - that is the average salary of an assistant manager in the Championship.

And regarding Norwich it is a far better place to live than Ipswich.

Well it's true.
We are probably the most unattractive club to join.

No fans, no atmosphere, Marcus Evans is selling most of the land on playford road to build houses.
We do not have an identity anymore..

Mick McCarthy performed miracles, yes the footbal was sh$t however we have one of the weakest squads in the division.

Hurst won't join us.
We have a League 1 squad and no money.

Ipswich will be the new Coventry

It is now becoming a worry who will be our next manager.
Jack Ross looks likely he will end up at Sunderland
Paul Hurst will probably end up at Derby.

So where does that leave us - we can't afford Lampards wages.

It will probably end up being Scott Parker

Lampard has turned it down due to wages we offered him 300k apparently Mick McCarthy was on £1m.
Jack Ross also turned the job down to wages and that he will have no budget to work with.
Paul Hurst has his sights set on Derby.

M.E loves Tim Sherwood but again won't pay him the wages plus Sherwood wants his own backroom team.

It is becoming a mess and I fear who we will get, I really hope it isn't but it looks like it could be a Simon Grayson type. That is unless M.E decides to offer more wages.

Jack Ross and the other applicants
at 15:32 21 May 2018

Jack Ross has turned Ipswich down due to lack of funds.
Paul Hurst isn't interested he is looking for a Championship team that has a chance of going up - eg Stoke or Swansea.

That means it will be between Lampard or Sherwood.

FYI - Everyone who laughed at the Lampard post a few weeks ago well his odds have been slashed from 33-1 to 2-1...

Next Ipswich Manager will be
at 12:01 18 Apr 2018

I have been an Ipswich fan since 1982. I was a mascot in 1985 - we drew 1-1 with United. Mark Hughes scored as a 21 year old and Alan Sunderland equalised.

I had an old account but forgot logins.

Frank Lampard - Harry Redknapp will be working in an advisory role.

Forget the paper talk about Gerrard he isn't even on 10 man short list.

My source is a good friend who works on the coaching staff. Evans will have to pay big wages for Lampard but is doing it for the publicity. Also as we do not have a big transfer budget he is relying on Frank's connections at Chelsea to get players on loan.

In 2 weeks time, I will post saying - I told you so. I will also disclose my source

FYI - he was 33-1, snap him up at 12-1.
