By end of April this May no longer be a six pointer (which it really is now) I've we had played them on 25 March and lost then momentum all with them. Hopefully by end April we have put some space between as they lose points on their games in hand, giving us the momentum! Think that makes sense! |

NITFC in fairness we would have said exactly the same about Lisbie, but colchester love him and he is (or at least was!) banging them in for them! How the Sunderland supporters can really judge two players that have not played in the first team recently remains to be seen. fingers crossed we prove them very very wrong! |

cant believe people are prepared to write these guys off before they even wear a town shirt? Do you think any of us are happy with the current situation? I think anyone who has a go at two new players before they step out onto the pitch for us is stretching the 'town fan' to its very limits. No I am not totally impressed with some of the signings (although two out of three from sunderland are currently on top form) BUT i will be there on saturday wishing these guys the very best of luck and supporting the club i have grown up with and stuck with through good times and bad. |

lets look at Lisbie, useless at Championship level but scores for fun in league one - Healey may be the same, not quite cut it at premiership but drop a league and all of a sudden he is scoring for fun??? Look at Ewbanks-Blake, was top scorer in Championship not finding that form up a league - droping down a league can have a massive impact, hopefully thats what will happen here!! Take everyones points plus and minus, but surely overall view must be lets get behind these lads and give them a Portman Road Welome saturday!!!! |

how refreshing, everyone seems to be united in their view of dont judge till we have seen the performance, and lets be the 12th man (or lady!). These guys have so much to proove, 'premiership' players who if they fail at a struggling championship side will have rather limiting future career options! Also Healy has been dropped by Northern Ireland due to lack of games, surely he will be busting a gut to get back into favour? Certainly this is much better than i dared hope for yesterday am, would not have been too enamoured by Murphy alone, but as a partnership and along side other players they know well, fingers crossed!
btw anyone know if either of them every played up front when Stead was at Sunderland, or did their paths cross? |
