 | News Comment | Muric Dismissed From Kosovo Squad at 15:56:16
Something's occured no doubt, but poor quality keeper or bad decision by McKenna? Murics just been nominated for the Premiership save of the month, so he can't be that bad. Were three games in and it's way too early to start saying he's no good |

Not going to happen. Three goals in two games Blackburn will want more and he will be happy hes scoring. Move on now |
 | News Comment | Jackson, Ball and Camara Released as Town Announce Retained List at 17:13:07
I thought Jackson improved as the season went on and he thrived on the wing making some good crosses into the box. Obviously Burns will be the number one choice but when subbed his place was taken by Hutch. What if we can't get him back? |

Until this cretin of an owner goes our beloved ITFC is at best going to be an also ran. They guy has no idea and if anyone is out of his depth it is him. We need a chairman with character, with a love for the club, a reachable goal and the willingness to use the necessary resources to make this happen. Until then...... |

 | News Comment | Beattie Family Guests of the Club as Team-Mates Pay Tribute at 19:01:54
The Beat was a legend. That cannot be taken away but his wife is still here and sadly she has MS. Rather than raise money for family charities why not raise money to support the Beats wife and show her how much he was loved and respected. |

I am lucky to have been watching Town back in the 1970's during the glory days of the FA and UEFA cup. Sir Bobby was both loved by the fans and respected by the players. Sir Bobby did build a team of young players but he also had the funds to bring in some good names where needed. Not many during his tenure I grant you but names like Hunter (can't remember how much, Muhren for 150,000, Thijssen for £220,000, and also Paul Mariner for £220,000. These were large sums of money back in the late seventies and probably equivalent to millions today. MM has the support of the board (or in this case owner) but not the money to bring in much needed talent. What about the promise of funds released from selling Cresswell, Mings and more lately Murphy. Managing Ipswich must be like trying to drink soup with your arms tied behind your back, and with a blindfold on. All recent managers have found the job a poisoned chalice. I don't think it matters who manges Town and until the club gets an owner prepared and able to invest it will remain so. |
