Charlton Boss Garner Charged By FA
at 17:11:15

Selective Ryland Klopp viewing....... Obviously never saw the blatant handball on the line that should have been a pen and red card. Muppet.

MDs: Academy Will Step Up to Category One
at 21:08:48

So pleased for Big Mick and TC plus the owner, board, all the backroom staff and the players and squad. I liked Paul Jewell but the change had to happen and I sincerely hope Mick can do his business this summer and we can make a real go of a promotion charge next season as well as cat 1 Academy. COME ON THE BOY'S !!!!

MDs: Academy Will Step Up to Category One

I had a right go at Simon Clegg about this at the Northern Supporters Club AGM at the Brewery Tap in Leeds last season - I am so pleased we are finally doing this as it will be the future lifeblood of the club - our beloved Ipswich Town. Cannot understand why we didn't go for Cat 1 to start with to be honest. Great news all the same and I hope we get Cat 1 status after the audit. Come on the Boy's !!!!

Paul Jewell - thankyou - you have shown by your honesty and integrity your true soul, a great Guy whom we all really liked but it just didn't work out at ITFC. All Town fans wish you the best of luck and hope to see you back in football very very soon. All the best.

Jewell Still Has Backing of Bosses
at 18:47:22

We are turning ourselves into our own laughing stock - surely it cannot be that ME, SC and PJ cannot agree a financial pay off ? 2 more home defeats this week, fans turning against the club, manager, players and owners when we most likely lose against Derby and Sheff Weds at our beloved home ground. FOR GOODNESS SAKE PROVE ME WRONG PJ AND I WILL EAT MY WORDS - OTHERWISE GO WITH DIGNITY AND GRACE NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW - Ithink you understand where I am coming from..........

Jewell Considering Town Future After Hull Defeat
at 18:14:25

Paul - leave with your dignity and go now please. You did a good job to salvage the Roy Keane wreckage but your "best Town Squad ever" are not delivering and to be frank this team should be pushing for a top 10 finish - in short they need a 'f&*(I'n' rocket up their backsides. Please leave with a semblance of pride and honour - thank you, good luck and goodbye. Now - CURBISHLEY or BIG MICK IN AND NOW BEFORE TUESDAY'S GAME.

Evans Still Backing Jewell Despite Cardiff Defeat
at 21:19:06

....and one more thing.............as Town Fan's we are thankful and grateful to Marcus Evans for supporting the club but even he has to realise change has to happen, other clubs are doing it and turning it around. Much longer and we will be cut adrift at the bottom. A new manager such as Big Mick or Curbs could work wonders with this squad who are good enough for at least a top 10 finish in the Championship.

Evans Still Backing Jewell Despite Cardiff Defeat
at 21:14:29

To coin a particular current phrase of PJ at the moment - "ok let's get this right".....yes we dominated the first 60 mins, yes DJ handled the ball, yes we deserved the lead and YES YES YES YES we proved yet again that we cannot defend. To gift 2 sh*te goals as we did today - Cardiff left with Santa on his sleight to get home. The time to change the manager is NOW Marcus NOW Simon NOW the Town board. That gives the new manager 2 whole clear weeks to work with the team. We are heading down with PJ and that hurts me to say it as (and repeated on this board previously), most of us like PJ and feel desparately for him but IT JUST ISN'T WORKING ANYMORE but we need to change AND WE NEED TO CHANGE NOW.

Jewell: Fans Entitled To Be Annoyed
at 20:55:53

Probably like a lot of fans we all WANTED to wake up on Monday to see the headline "......press conference announced at Ipswich Town for 2pm....." but we all KNEW it wasn't going to happen. WE ALL WANT TO BE PROVED WRONG but can we take yet another defeat before something happens ? This time the Barnsley game 1 year on could this Saturday be the time PJ finishes that resignation letter he ripped up after last years fixture. I will reblog an apology if we win but all the signs are heading toward humiliation for a great club such as our's. Mr Clegg and Mr Evans - please pay Paul off and let's start again before our 11th season in the 2nd tier ends in relegation.

Jewell Won't Quit as Redknapp Speculation Grows
at 21:21:25

I have supported The Town for over 40 years. The last 3 to 4 years have just about been the worst ever that I can recollect. I did not want Roy Keane within 100 miles of our beloved club but trusted the owner. He took us back even further especially the diabolical sale of a certain Mr Jordan Rhodes - and Roy Keane tells us what he knows on ITV Sport - what a joke. His past actions especially with the Irish team were an utter disgrace and then he tarnished our great great club. We then entrust the extremely likeable Paul Jewell. His Wigan team were superb. But as we all know, to try and recreate something from history rarely happens. Many of us want it to work for Paul but I feel the time has come for a change. it just isn't working and no, it is not too early in the season. The rot is setting in and we must and have to act decisively and change now. I'm sorry it didn't work out Paul I like you, a lot of us like you - it seems the time is right to make the change and swiftly. In a perfect world I would like a young buck manager on the up but the only one that seems to be on the up is Paulo Di'Cannio or similar (- is there another one out there ?) and he is too much of a risk at this stage. Perhaps Harry Redknapp - tried and trusted for this season and then for him to assist a rising star for next year. I fear this season could get worse still unless decisive action is taken and now. If we can't afford Harry then I would accept Mick McCarthy - a proven manager at this level and treated very badly by Wolves - he has a lot to prove and could be very good for us. My personal favourite would be ex Charlton manager Alan Curbishley - a perfect fit and match for our club.
