I've always thought ot ridiculous how easy it is for players to play for or switch to National teams without credibility.
Players should be made to confirm their chosen nationality when signing professional terms for the first time and then be made to stick to their choice otherwise it makes a mockery of the international stage. |

Annoys me that everyone consistently looks at the negatives with a goalkeeper and never the positives and the fact that he's 2nd in the league for saves and top for claiming high balls. Unfortunately there always had to be a scapegoat in a struggling team year his errors wouldn't be so obvious if we'd scored more goals leading to more points, but then nobody blames the strikers...... Strange things football fans, especially those that base their opinions on TV highlights which often only highlight goals scored, conceded and errors. |

Tom used to buy the TWTD paper fanzines off me when I used to sell them outside Churchmans when Paul Stephens was editor sometime around 90/91, he would always stop for a chat, also used to see him at loads of away games.

When footballers sign their first professional contract they should be made to sign a declaration to Fifa which offers allegiance to a national team, they then shouldn't be able to switch allegiance.... It just makes a mockery of the international set up. |

After listening to some of the rubbish that was coming out of the mouths of some supporters at Cambridge I can't say I blame him.
We're all frustrated but those who do nothing but complain and moan obviously haven't been watching Town for many seasons as this has been the most enjoyable for many years..... Keep going Sammie we'd be worse off without you. |

As much as I think this is a great tribute to our greatest ever players I can't help thinking that those players are honored in so many different ways by the club and the supporters and that this was a missed opportunity to honor those who have given so much to the club over the year without the recognition that they deserve. Simon Milton, Pat Godbold, Trevor Kirton, Bryan Klug to name a few.... Such a shame on my eyes. |
