I m from Sudbury originally - now live in Italy yet i still miss the area between Sudbury and Stoke By Clare - especially for fishing ! Its a beautifull area and compares to Tuscany the stour valley in terms of beauty .... miss it so much i keep a crafty eye on Rightmove to see whats available ...... coming back this summer to fish all over clare/ glemsford / up towards Bury ..... may pop in and see Kieran too - see if he needs a 58 year old centre back who could probably do a better job |

i wouldnt go anywhere in London - compared to the 90's London is an absolute hell hole - its totally unsafe and thousands of people are moving out - lived there in the 1990's - it was a joy ..... now overcrowded with immigration out of control and totally unsafe - take a word of advice and stay out |

the more i read about whats going on at other clubs - the more i realise what an amazing effort ITFC have put in this year - when I hear A.Villa looking at buying Debruyne - a team that couldnt beat us - how much money so many of these clubs have chucked at the season and how far we've come in 2 calendar years its gob smacking that we've accumulated the points we have ..... and don't worry there are more points to come ........ I honestly think if you are a fan and you want to criticise our manager or any of the team - not saying you don't understand football - but you have no understanding of the business workings of these other clubs and just how far ahead of us they are ...... seems to me we must have started all games with a group of players who were in league one in early 2023 - quite remarkable - and some of them performing very well at this level. I strongly believe that it was always part of our longer term plan to probably spend a couple of years bobbing up and down between the Prem and the championship - it will take that to give us the proper grounding to compete
Well done ITFC for 3 incredible seasons - probably the best since 1978-1981 (not withstanding 99-2001 ) cannot get more excitement if we tried - and now next season we have a really interesting journey ahead of us ..... |

anyone got any faves
for me I've been impressed with so many managers in the PL have had nothing but good things to say about Ipswich and pretty much all of them have shown us a lot of respect both before and after the game ...... except Marco Silva - an absolute ASS of a man .... how does he keep his job ? highly strung, awkward, etc - guess he's kept them up but Jeeps i don't like him. Even Pep has been humbled with some level of dignity ...... overall they are a good bunch of managers |

failing ? we will probably make a clear 20-40 mill on delap - our revenue has gone ballistic and we have plenty of talent left .... thats probably the best bit of business that U.S fund has done in a while....... dont confuse a failing business with a run of poor form on the pitch and please please try not to be so short sighted ....being in the championship next year - IF - thats where we are is probably right in line with the long term business plan |

So at last the UK has a chance for a proper Brexit as was promised and never delivered by a bunch of successive UK P.M's ..... Trump is basically saying we'll give you some huge trade deals, we wont apply any Tariffs to you - the rest of the EU gets hit next week.... so break ties with the EU properly (because lets face it we haven't) remember who your only "true" friend has ever been - and Propser - but oh no watch the UK and Starmer screw this one up and all the EU lefties and liberals come out of the woodwork ... who incidentally should understand there will be no EU within 3 years - watch the UK snatch defeat from the jaws of victory........... |

more interesting than watching the games for sure ...... its been a great few years and its as interesting as hell - for me the next big "thing" will be who are the rats who will leave the sinking ship at the end of the season - I suspect fewer than people think ......
At least we'll have something to play for next year ?
One expression that irritates the hell out of me is "established" premier league club - no such thing unless your talking top 3 and even then ? what happened to those other established premier league clubs Stoke, Bolton, Charlton ? there is nothing to play for in the prem at present except 4th from bottom - we need to consolidate in the Champ for a season or two and then give it another try - anyone - including Delap - with a functioning brain cell will stay on at the club as they have a lot to prove and yes I do think we'll bounce straight back - but there's a lot of work to do |

do people feel the need to call the AFD racists or fascits simply because the BBC or Sky News has told them to or have they thought this one out - a party that looks after German interest first and does not believe (as history has shown time and time again) that Christian / Muslim coexistence which is not putting muslims down - simply saying their culture is not fungible - good for them on many levels ..... is possible and wants to tighten its borders - whats the problem with that ? exactly what Trump is doing and where we will follow in 3/4 years or sooner ... someone has gotta pay the bill for all this and as Musk is finding out hundreds of billions being wasted and the Germans who also pick up the bill for the rest of Europe are sick and tired of it - next election sure the AFP will pee the election - what have they got now after last night ? Tories and Labour in coalition = will just make their problems a whole lot worse and piss even more Germans off - its not rocket science |

to what end ? EU IS going to take on Russia in a war ? that can only end nuclear - if it needs to arm as a deterant then what is the point of NATO ? Do you honestly think Putin will look to invade Spain next or France ?
Also do we know what percentage of Ukraine wants to be part of Russia ? what percentage of Ukraine speaks Russian - and what about the 1000 year history of Ukraine ? European is it ? I tell you what why doesnt Russia seek to make California part of Russia - stick its troops in there (im sure 80% of the population want that anyway - they're all Marxists) - see how the U.S responds to that ? so why poke the bear by having Nato / EU in Ukraine ? simply stupid idea |

is that there is so much "average " talent exchanging hands in the premiership for 50 million + and look at Chelsea - 1.3 billion spent and that's what you get ? So Liam Delap - without any doubt at all the next Alan Shearer, the natural replacement to Harry Kane and without doubt worth at least £100 mill - so why is it if things don't go our way (and after yesterdays performance I'm not saying for a minute we wont stay up) - that he'll probably leave for 40 mill and everyone will think that's good business - coz it ain't - don't know how we ever managed to get him for the pittance we paid and bravo to ITFC for doing so
As for our keeper - if his value didnt go up 5 fold after yesterday then there is no common sense in this game
for me ... and just saying ... that was the greatest save in the history of foot ball - and if not then it draws level with Gordon's save against Pele - just totally unreal |

is that team in the position its in the league ? i thought with 11 men we would have easily won it - we look at worse like a 12-14th position club ....... well done and keep going - 3 points from the next 2 games will do us well - although 6 is possible ! |
