Mad how many 'one punch' killings there have been in recent years. One outside of O'Neils in Blackheath springs to mind when I lived there.
My martial arts training (albeit ages ago) feels relevant. In potentially violent situations, it was escape first, if not then de-escalation, if not then disarmament/subdue. Hitting someone, in any form, was a last resort and never to the head. Was also the complication of being handed a worse sentence if you were a black belt too which made getting into those situations even more risky/silly. |

I haven't been able to get back to as many games (cos life) so have been giving the ST to mates and my old man on occasion, so am interested in the board's view. The usual caveat of it depending massively where you sit as to whether you can even adequately judge away fans...but from J block...
Worst - Liverpool - I know it was an early kick off and all that but god, they were dreadful. Quiet tourists
Best - City - loud, celebratory, and almost entirely backing their side rather than engaging in "going down" faux banter |

Our bit is probably the worst for it with those new boxes.
Has been an almost completely trouble free season in and around PR, and suspect a lot of that is to do with sensible policing for once. |

5 is fine. 22 is annoying. They also then kept leaving and entering and I'd keep getting the notification.
To be fair they were really good in the end. |

Reckon they'll be all over town, home areas in the ground, in hospitality etc.? Got form for it, bank holiday weekend, last game of the season, and haven't had a league game here for ages (and won't again for at least a season). Might be quite annoying. |

I was asked this question today and had to really think about it, but went with:
'Find a way to be comfortable saying "I don't know" when appropriate'
Looking back, I spent years avoiding saying it. I received said advice when a mentor noticed me flounder a couple of times and it was clear that an honest "I don't know, actually, but I can ask x/try and find out" would've been the right response for everyone's sake. Very grateful to them.
