I think framing it as 'someone who thinks their a better fan than me' is just unfair and inaccurate. It is more about how can we ensure we have a strong vocal support at home. Just saying 'all home support is crap' is a bit defeatist. It's not crap at Elland rd and can be a huge sporting advantage to them (when the Leeds fans are not on their backs). It does matter where they are and the acoustics surrounding them, the number of fans in that stand to allow songs to spread etc, of course it does. |

whilst getting extremely tedious, is this looking like it is going to fall through? Levy is a bar*tard to work for, has Frank worked this out already? |

And a move to Brentford when they are about to lose at least one of their best players looks risky. The lowest risk option would appear to take us back up then keep us up the following year, having had another year planning for it and with a years experience under our belts. But let’s face it, none of it is risk free and the odds are stacked against managers. But at £5 mill a year, there are worse jobs |

I think he needs another season watching those mid table prem teams so he has a nailed on plan as to what they do and how they do it. We will never know how last season might have gone for him if he went to Brighton, but he has to be very careful on his choices because it is very easy to lose a reputation, much harder to get it back. |

The standard of coaches in the Prem is high all round and there is not much between them. The factors that influence a clubs position are arguably only 20% to do with the coach. If our investors are committed we are in a strong position and a very good proposition for any promising manager. The club is still very much joined up, despite relegation. Look at Leicester and Southampton sacking managers, none of that here, strong foundations have been laid. |

us = 'those that want to sing and get behind the team' |

Mark, if you want this subject to be closed off, then give us a proper stand. btw - Slambo - interesting you want the seats down the front of Section A - up the back is always where you can make most noise imo. More visible down the front for sure. [Post edited 4 Jun 19:58]

You have to hold to the benefits it will bring the club and the players. I wish there was more science to back up the improved sporting performance with a strong vocal support behind the team, because that ultimately would be worth a lot of money to the club. The main issue you have is there is nowhere for your songs to spread, you need a Kop stand, where if 50 up the back are singing, it spreads throughout the stand. With the way the stands are right now, it is just all over the place as NSL 4/5 and NSL 1/2/3 sing to their own tune, we are all out of sync. I think Churchman's upper could work. |

Yes I think we want all of that. I went to a Swedish game this season and IFK Gothenburg are awesome, PSG too of course. So yes, yes and yes. It does not matter if other people don't want that, that is up to them. But if people DO want that, then there should be a prominent place for it at PR. I am sure if you did a survey of the players they would want it, and would it enhance their sporting performance, 100% it would. |

With Sam, it is not about a loss of his playing ability, that is relatively easy to replace. Replacing his leadership qualities, is much much harder, but totally essential as one thing I think we lacked this season is enough leaders, who, when we were behind were prepared to stick their necks out and say "we are not having this" |

I think you are always going to have upset some people Leaky. But I think they can achieve a lot through pricing. ie. make it much less attractive for > 50 year olds (I am one of them btw) to want to sit in the Lower North. Then, if you are 50+ and you really want to sing then you should in theory be able to cough up the dough to go in there, because at 50 you are theoretically able to swallow an extra £150 on a season ticket price if singing is really that important to you. |
