To ne honest I think the biggest pr!icks were the Chelsea players who turned their shirts the wrong way round and were pointing at their name and numbers. Mostly squad players. Thought was a bit cringe when the England U20's (or another young age group) did this when they won the U20 World Cup a few years ago, just unsportsmanlike and a bit cringe allround imho. |

Having read the FA and elsewheres guidance on what the two roles actually entail it's hard to see how one person could do both roles. Do we think Mike O'Leary will ever be replaced or will both roles be amalgamated into a Super Chief Grand Master Wizard type designate? Just thinking aloud really. |

It's interesting as I believe the club still don't know who that user is so proceed with caution I think. That said, they have been right on a few issues so they've got form for sure. The academy issue still perplexes me, surely it's not hard to get right. As for "one of our greatest coaches" they could be referring to Adem Atay maybe as he's out of work at the moment I believe. |

The gents who run Halo started it as a side hustle whilst working for the public sector north of the boarder. The main man, Paul Hamilton, is actually a Ross County fan. They'll be worth £2 Billion quite soon and are the most humble and down to earth blokes you'd want to be involved with the club. Anyone who sniffs at this involvement, from a firm who are trailblazers and who interestingly have guaranteed they won't be selling out despite multiple take over bids is, sadly a bit of a ninny. |

The club has literally just appointed a twice convicted drink driver (albeit 2007 & 2011) as Club Ambassador who is also a trustee of the foundation and a director of the ITFC PLC so I assume we're all about forgiveness nowadays. |

Wouldn't mind either one of these to be honest, MSC logo looks decent on the Napoli shirts as would Halo's from a purely aesthetic viewpoint. MSC seem to be a company with decent ethics too from what I can tell. I really like Halo's story, basically started by 2 Scottish guys as a side hustle from their council jobs in Inverness and they grew so fast. Main guy does indeed reside in Stowupland and is apparently a Ross County fan, would love to know how they ended up in IP14 :) [Post edited 8 May 10:10]

More vindication for coming off Fb and Twitter/X, so sick of reading this rubbish. Socials, trains and now pubs full of absolute ar5eholes like this on football days. |

Pretty confident all the top business people do not indeed do this |
 | Forum Reply | Achilleus Security at 21:25 23 Feb 2025
Not sure but they tend to do alot of short term sponsors and "one off" deals for events and such like. |

You'd think...if I can find all this out within 30 minutes then a team with access to far more than just the world wide web ought to. Ought! |

Interesting appointment, would be interested what in the way of "due dilligence" aka vetting the club has done. Having had a quick look at HMRC, the director has had numerous businesses struck off, mostly through failure to file paperwork on time and several more go into administration, in one case owing £100K+. The classic practice of running a company poorly, owing creditors money then starting afresh. I suspect this is not uncommon in the security industry. At best, they're run by serially unsuccesful business people. At worst, who knows. Watch this space [Post edited 23 Feb 20:39]

Announced this morning over on socials, Ipswich Town are delighted to announce that Achilleus Security are the new sponsors of the Sir Bobby Robson Stand aka North Stand at Portman Road. A quick search on HMRC (yes I am that sad) reveals they're currently being liquidated and have changed their name a few times over the past few years. Make of that what you will. They're the firm who supply security staff at the ground. |
