 | News Comment | Morsy: Hutchinson Exit Should Have Been Smoother at 13:08:37
Hutchinson was not treated badly by the club, but he treated the club and its fans with disrespect. Morsy, although badly missed, left with all our blessings for a secure future for his family and a good cultural fit. Hutchinson is leaving because he thinks he is better than he is and has been greedy and badly advised. I'd take back Sam tomorrow, but I don't want to see Hutchinson back at Portman Road - ever! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Hutchinson Didn't Feel That He Could Contribute Today at 11:30:24
I have no empathy for him whatsoever. Unbelievable how he can refuse to play. Come on Mckenna, I'm disappointed. Should have picked him anyway and if he doesn't try, pulled him off before half time and humiliate him. He doesn't deserve to be at the club I have supported for nearly 50 years. And the fans (partly at least) pay his wages by working hard to afford a season ticket. Get rid of him, but try to keep Broadhead. While Hutchinson is still at the club we will not get the team spirit we desperately need to get our mojo back |
 | News Comment | Bromley 1-1 Ipswich Town (5-4 on Pens) - Match Report at 22:25:01
Don't understand why Al Hamedi took that pen. His confidence will be shot again. We just didn't look dangerous and were frightened to shoot. Even Ashley Young, our best player. Why repeated crosses to far post when the opposition were stronger in the air? We seem to have lost the confidence to score freely. I hope the new signings make a difference. |
 | News Comment | Saudi Club in Cajuste Talks at 23:32:28
Please can we stop getting these stories about where an ex-loanee is likely to be playing this year. If Ipswich was a serious option for him, he would be here by now. PS - I thought he did a great job for us last season |
 | News Comment | Morsy Flying Out to Kuwait Today at 20:21:57
Will be really sad to see him go. Did well in Prem league despite lack of pace. I feel completely different about this one and Delap departure. Delay used us, Morsey saved us! |
 | News Comment | O'Shea: I'm Fully Committed to Town at the Moment at 16:47:49
I would love O'Shea to stay. We need continuity. But he's not irreplaceable. I am more concerned with the annual merry go round of speculation about McKenn's future. We need to sort that once and for all before transfer window re-opens. All business, in or out should be done in first 2 weeks. |
 | News Comment | Chaplin: Summed Up a Lot of Our Season at 20:13:41
I didn't think Chaplin did too badly today, he was always looking to make something happen. Shame Greaves didn't read the bit about closing people down, or perhaps he was one of those with a bug, in which case Burgess should have played |
 | News Comment | McKenna: FFP Limits Promoted Clubs' Ambition at 00:27:10
Sense and factual assessment by Portman Terrorist. You must actually watch most of the games! There really has been rubbish on here about McKenna. The injuries obtained - in matches and in a number of cases in tackles - have nothing to do with high intensity training We need to stop players helping with the washing up too! |
 | News Comment | Young Keeper Gray Braintree Young Player of the Season at 22:52:39
He's done well. Don't underestimate the standard of that league. There are some really good players, full time pros at Vanarama League levels. He's almost certainly close to L2 or even lower L1 level. In some ways L2 will be easier for him. |
 | News Comment | Upson's Late Stunner Secures Promotion For Skuse's Bury at 22:28:57
Congratulations to Cole Skuse and Bury Town. Before we moved I used to watch them a lot when I couldn't get to ITFC away. I love non-league football, it's to be recommended if you can't afford or can't get to a Premier League or EFL game. And usually the beer is better... |
 | News Comment | West Brom Sack Mowbray After Three Months at 23:03:30
Lee James. McKenna has no passion? Did you see his reaction to the late goal conceded at Hull last season. Plus a few other reactions this year. Yes he's calm. Good! As for Dyche - nice bloke but not a town man. Everyone knows we got to the Premier League too soon, and we needed at least 2 more transfer windows to be ready. As for league one players, I for one was impressed by Morsey's leadership in the second half on Saturday. I think we should get the opinion of the Arsenal midfielders rather than yours! When McKenna leaves we will probably look overseas. As per Wolves, Brighton, Bournemouth..... |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Much Appreciated and Not Quickly Forgotten at 14:08:06
@Churchman. Sorry mistake to mark you down, should read this on my phone, fingers too big! 100% agree with you. There's a number of fans at home games who have appeared and expected miracles in the Prem. Where were they in MM days on cold wet Tuesdays? Sorry again Churchmans |
 | News Comment | Delap Release Clause £30m at 17:09:06
Everyone seems to think he will want to go. I think he might want to stay. In which case a release clause is irrelevant. If both club and LD are happy he'll stay. Anyway, why move to sit on the bench somewhere. His dad is a wise old owl too. |
 | News Comment | Cajuste: It's Tough But We're Going to Keep Going With Our Heads High at 15:31:16
I would just remind those booing of the MM and RK days. Awful football and a half empty stadium. We are lightweight, we are inexperienced and in some cases selections have been quesionable (I genuinely thought on the way to the game that Burgess would start due to their threat in the air and poor Davis has lost his confidence), but let's support the team, support the manager and be grateful that good times are again just around the corner. And apart from kidnapping how do we get Cajuste to stay? |
