You will be surprised how quickly you lose fitness when you stop from youre normal day to day activities, players will all have training programmes over the summer to keep fit but nothing will compare to the intensity if full training and games. |

Town really have suprised me this season, left me with egg on my face with my start of season rant (d'oh). The next 2 games (wolves and watford could really shape the season 2 positive results could see us become serious contenders. Still think we are 1 or 2 players short especially with the Xmas period looming. |

Agree with battyblue, why bring in a young striker on loan from another club when we have a good young hungry prospect of our own, give the lad a chance. Just take the 8m, try and sign a couple of players today to see us through till jan and use the money to strengthen then, clubs will only bump there price up today cos they will know we are desperate. |

As i said before the season even started we have a poor squad and now a very very thin squad how are we supposed to challenge the top teams with this squad or even for promotion. we have £3m from cresswell sitting somewhere which could be used to but 3/4 decent players to supplement the squad. MM seems to be the only person who is failing to see this. |
