Anybody tried the craft beers brewed by Burnt Mill?
WB Junior has recently started working at Hopsters on Woodbridge Quay and in the interest of keeping him company I have been working my way through the menu of beers.
Very good choice, including an 8% option, can recommend this bar particularly on a nice summer evening. Decent restaurant next door (The Boathouse) and a pizza restaurant (The Woodyard). |

We have all had a traumatic week waiting for news of KMc's future. Delighted to read Phil's report this afternoon and we all breath a sigh of relief.
Half an hour later I received a phone call from one of my best mates.....except it wasn't him, it was his wife, telling me that Perry had suffered a massive cardiac arrest earlier today and passed away in hospital this afternoon.
Really good bloke, apart from being a West Ham fan, and he was genuinely delighted when we achieved promotion. Both making plans to try to get to both games next season , we used to meet up once a month to do the rounds of the Woodbridge pubs and discuss everything sports related and more.
In a two minute phone call it's all over.
Just enjoy as much of life as you can, cherish your friendships and don't let things get to you too much.
That's pretty much what Perry would say if I was having a beer with him tonight. |

Anybody at Portman Road the last time we clinched promotion in the last game of the season ?
Didn't we go an a run similar to last season, something like unbeaten in our last 15 games, inspired by the goals of John O'Rourke?
What were the celebrations like after the game?

Have we ever had a last game of the season, at Portman Road, which clinched promotion?
Last year we had another game after Exeter, 99/00 promotion was won at Wembley, 91/2 at Oxford....I have a feeling that in 1967/8 the last game of the season against Blackburn was crucial in that we needed a point, which we got.
How early did we get promotion in 1960/61? |

Just curious as to why the club are still offering memberships for this season......is it so that any away game points can be included, or will away game points be carried over if a 24/25 membership is taken out?
Just seems a lot of money to pay for six remaining games, so there must be some advantage to it. |

Mention has been made of Morsy approaching a two game ban at a crucial time, but to make matters even more concerning is the fact that both Burns and Williams are on four, so one away from a one match ban.

If you buy an away ticket as a non-member, just a season ticket holder, and then subsequently become a member at a later date, do you get the points for those away tickets bought as a non-member backdated? |
