You're right about relying on Sargent (with Rowe being injured) and he is just about hanging onto fitness as the old ankle injury is not fully healed. Despite our recent run of results (at home particularly) I think you have more to worry about from Coventry. They are a very good team and anyone who finishes above them will get play offs. I think Albion will get 5th and Coventry 6th. |

There was no criticism or booing when Watford equalised with an absolute missile of a strike. Neither at the end. The boing was due to fans unhappy with the two substitutions. Nought to do with this 'entitlement' myth either. Sorry to disappoint you but as you weren't there 'you have no idea' (to coin our owners tirade at the local media at the AGM). |

Indeed. YR never played rugby and, to be honest, finds the rules of the game bizarre (polite description) never mind the odd shape of the ball! However, he does know that B John is one of the REAL legends not only of rugby but sport as a whole. Amazing to watch the somewhat 'grainy' clips of TV recordings on the news this evening and seeing a selection of rather 'lean' looking gentlemen playing the game as opposed to the huge 'beefcakes' of the modern era. One try in particular was shown in which The King raced past lumbering opponents with graceful dummies and side steps in either direction. They will be reeling in The Valleys tonight as The King of Welsh Rugby is mourned. We salute him as indeed the other real legends who have passed in recent weeks / months. |

I did say some time back that R Martin would probably 'reel you in' for second place. If not him then the other ex 'Budgie'. You have had a quite sensational calendar year of 2023 but I think you will end up (easily) in the Play Off spots. Beware Watford who are now hitting serious form and have a bunch of pacey, lively forwards. Heaven forbid even the Yellow Army might just creep in. Now that would never do would it! |

Indeed. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about last Saturday both inside and outside the ground. Never felt threatened at all outside, it was good banter although an 'edge' to it definitely. I thought the Old Bill did a brilliant job and the fact that there were only two arrests I believe tells its own story. Apparently there was some crushing and a steward got injured as some of our fans rushed to the front when we scored both goals. Trying to blame that on 'bad organisation', 'the stewards' or anyone else is wrong. If any of our fans misbehaved then they are to blame. End of. The Evening News story didn't gain any legs anyway thus proving it was just isolated stuff. |

You're right on this one! We were the only club stupid enough to offer him a two year deal. He has other offers but all on 12 months. Looks like his leg have gone. . Once Sargent is fit Barnes hould be benched but I doubt he will be. |

Lots to agree with there and from a die hard Yellow as well. First time I'd seen you live this season and I was impressed with the style of football. Similar to the 2018 / 19 Farke team with lots of intelligent interplay and movement around / in the box. That said I thought you lacked some directness and pace to really capitalise on our weaknesses. You're in a fantastic position and with a ten point cushion could well get automatic. I still believe either ex Budgies Daniel or Russ will reel you in to grab second. How you then 'get up' for the playoffs is anyone's guess. I don't need to remind you what happened in 2015 of course! |

Why? Most of your fans have been bigging it up for weeks about 'thrashing us', 'ending the wait' etc. yet despite everything and your missed first half chances you've failed again. For much of this season we've been woeful so coming back with a point when we went down there with very little hope is worth celebrating and the old Blades song was sung relentlessly at the end.
We rode our luck first half for sure but we will take that.
First time I've seen you this season but I was impressed. Played the ball out really well and looked very much like our team from Farke 1 promotion with the movement in / around the box. Finally, credit to the Old Bill who I thought did a great job with organising fans before and after the match. |
