He was basically given the money to buy the club to keep him away from the family business. |

I wonder how this came about…
Already working under an extremely highlighted manager. Did he reach out to KM and say look, I want to build my knowledge base and work under and learn from you as well? Or the other way round? Hi Junior, we’ve heard great things - come work with a first team rather than U18s.
I know we’ll never know for sure, but just thinking out loud. |

A former colleague I sat next to invested £68,000 in BTC years ago. His sister worked for the same company and confirmed it - it was inhertiance, he put it all in BTC and she put the deposit down on a house with her share. Apparently it caused lots of issues as his family were really annoyed he'd "wasted" the money...
I'm told it's worth well north of five million now and he doesn't work any longer and his family are more forgiving. |

On O'Shea - was talking to a friend about this.
In my mind - he's done enough to prove he's a Premier League player. But, if we go down he'll have been relegated three times. Would he really fancy a move to say back to Burnley (for arguments sake) and be involved in a relegation battle yet again? He may well prefer to stay and have a chance of winning something for once? Unlikely, but not out of the question - and it does depend who comes in for him I guess. If a more 'established' PL team comes in for him, then of course he'll be off.
Although, I am aware I very much have blue tinted glasses on and cluthing at straws. |

Ah, so you know for certain that we didn't look at him do you?
Maybe we did, but he decided the prospect of playing in the Champions Leagueknock-out stages in front of 50,000 home fans in a team regularly fighting for league and cup titles was more appealing than a releagtion fight and possibly Championship football.
The reality is you - or anyone else on this board or social media - has any idea who we have and haven't "gone for"., |
