Little surprise that Downes and Woolfenden dominate this category as well. Armando Dobra made an impression virtually every time he got his chance - which should have been more often according to many fans - and is one who could claim a regular place in 2020/21.

Perhaps the most positive aspect of this question is that 15 different players - non-loanees aged 22 and under - received votes with the Leasing.com Trophy allowing plenty of youngsters - including schoolboy Tawanda Chirewa who received eight votes - to get a taste of first-team football before they otherwise might. A number of them could have a big part to play in the season ahead.

In addition to those 15, last year's winner was Jack Lankester, who didn't play a minute in 2019/20 due to injury and will no doubt be desperate to start where he left off once the new season gets under way.
