thought Fleetwood were good but so pleased with 2nd half pressure finally paid off.
Chaplin has been great and we're seeing why he was signed. It's difficul to name best 11 but as long as Cook brings on subs early enough we have chance to change game.
Donacian continues to impress.

Donacien very solid. Chaplin excellent throughout and Toto and Edmundsen very good in defence.

Thought Matete for Fleetwood was outstanding and if I was a neutral bystander MOM. We should link into signing Matete in January, would be a superb addition to this team.

I don’t get to many games because of work and living a fair trek from Ipswich but went yesterday with my nephew. A few things first that stood out – those railings opposite the shop need a good lick of paint, the 4G coverage is woeful and the number of food and drink outlets frankly was unacceptable. Anyways that is for another day and I’m sure on Mark Ashton’s list of improvements. And based on the team it will come! As for the match, first half I felt we were too slow in possession, Fleetwood mind played well without really testing Walton. Who looks a good keeper, he looks calm and assured – claimed a couple of crosses comfortably which makes you relax watching him compared to Holy/Hladky. The Fleetwood midfield were matching it with Morsy and Evans and Mateta looks a very good young player. One who I expect will not be playing at Fleetwood. Morsy though grew as the game went on. He I imagine is a horrible player to play against – caught their other midfielder at one point and lucky ref didn’t see it. But we have missed that kind of enforcer presence. Bonne looked somewhat off it, should have done better with his header first half. Edwards too much on the periphery and ran into too many dead ends. He is young though so will improve. Second half we played a lot faster, great goal from Chaplin and from then on, we should have scored two maybe three more. Helped us scoring as we can then hit teams on the counter – that is one reason why we might do okay in this tougher run as better opposition should not play the low block. Introduction of Burns helped he is a terrific L1 wideman, great trickery and link up with Donacien. Disappointing to concede but after that the final 15 minutes or so we showed great courage and desire and for me fully deserved the winner. Onwards and upwards – this team is going to only get better.
