There was more than 202 of us. I was the 203rd, sitting in the main stand in with the locals. I had no qualms About standing and politely applauding the two goals in the first half. Thoroughly deserved!
The funniest moment might have been poor Idris really having no idea what he was doing for the entire first half. But this was eclipsed by Tom Carroll’s one contribution to the match. He sprinted back towards his centre half who duly rolled the ball a few metres towards him. Carrol theatrically touched the ball straight back the centre half, turned and sprinted back in the direction he had come from. A player rating of 1.9 richly deserved!

I've seen Sunday league teams as good as Ipswich in that first half. Can't blame Walton, who was not given a chance by either goal, and Norwood and Jackson tried their best but I don't recall anyone ever passing to them near goal. The midfield and the defence were just amaterurish. If we performed like this every week we'd be in a relegation scrap in L2.

Barrow were winning all the second balls. When they broke, they had men in space all the time. When we got the ball, every man was marked. Utterly clueless.

Sadly I'm beginning to think our much hyped summer recruits aren't actually all that good.

There should be scope for a minus rating. What a shower of sh*t

It was very noticeable on TV how lightweight we looked. Barrow just brushed us aside why do we keep buying these lightweight ball players Chaplin, Fraser, Aluko, Edwards, Celina, Carroll. At times last night i thought Barrow were playing a under fifteens side.

Abyssmal and embarrassing. Put out the youths U-19 on Saturday that really care for the shirt that they wear!
