Thought Edmondson had a fabulous game tonight. Jackson worked very hard. Walton was very sharp. Poor old Janoi really worked hard, had to deal with a number of passes that were underhit or behind him and it seemed he then found it difficult to get his passes away to the intended target.
Most was much more controlled after the early yellow.....that may well have done him and us/ITFC a favour as he was then much calmer.
Well done Ipswich...a win, and on the telly! Awesome.

A good performance by town. Thought we deserved to win that one, we were the better team (as we normally are to be fair). Nice to finally have a team that didn't play 10 men behind the ball! Thought the back line was pretty solid tonight and kept Derby to few chances and good to see Burns being a bit more effective going forward. A hard fought win against a good side and great to finally get the sky hoodoo off our backs. John-Jules and Jackson we're pretty effective tonight as well (apart from the penalty!). COYB!

Great result against a tough team. I did not think we played as well as we can however Burns and Jackson were excellent and Harness also had a good game. The defence looked solid but did not create enough going forward. We struggled to generate much down the left. Everyone gave 100% and sets up a for a great weekend. Will go to bed very happy!

Can anyone tell me what Ladapo brings to the team. poor against Lincoln, worse against Derby.

A proper football match. 3rd division, on TV on a Friday night and still over 28,000 there.
Cagey and tense first half, but we rose to the top second half.
Atmosphere second half was electric. Fair play to Derby for playing their part.
Perfect start to the weekend.

I thought it was an excellent, really high quality game, and better than some of the games you'll see in the Premier League each weekend. Both teams came for a battle and played well. But, we were so much better than a very good Derby side, and should have won by a more comfortable margin.

Hard to single out a player for particular praise but I thought Jackson did well, despite the very poor penalty. Walton was excellent, on his toes whenever it mattered, the defence were solid, and the midfield, I can't remember when we last had such a confidence inspiring pairing dominating the game in the middle of the park producing week in week out. It is a great time to be watching Ipswich.

Word of praise too for some of the Derby players. Cashin looked really good, as did Wildsmith. And it was great to see McGoldrick back.

My only grumble is that we need to be much more clinical and ruthless in the final third, especially against teams as good as Derby. Fortunately, we're getting better at seeing games out, but more clinical finishing would means less frayed nerves in the last quarter of the game.

Cannot understand the voting. Jackson was MOM even Sky gave it to him Wolfy just has to play and he gets top marks where he slows the play at back all the time and Doncian covers his mistakes if Donacian was not at the back Town would suffer where as they won't miss Wolfy in my opinion and Morsey had a poor game tonight Evans was superior in every aspect
