AlanG296 added 17:40 - Oct 5 We've had a wonderful journey for two seasons under a novice manager learning on the job, and how well he's done. So far. He's still learning. He's got a lot to learn. Stick to his principles? Or get pragmatic? bluelodgeblue added 17:46 - Oct 5 PositivelyPortman added 17:48 - Oct 5 grinch added 17:51 - Oct 5 Burns was woeful bench player now...it showed today what Axel means to back line Morsy was woeful Philips held his own too lightweight with Clarke burns and Hutchinson we made West ham look so good...also think KM left subs too late take the loss and move on to next game Eeyore added 17:59 - Oct 5 Before those who didn’t watch blame Morsy, he was outstanding today. If anyone was at found wanting it would be the defence being caught out of position and not coping with quick breaks from wide players. West Ham had really great width and we struggled to match that with our wing play. West Ham defending was outstanding today. Ours was shakey to say the least. A lot to learn. Robert_Garrett added 00:13 - Oct 6 Dont think we had all the answers to this challenge. Bustled off the ball too easily, still at the beginning of a big learning curve. Tempted out of our defensive box too early and the tactics went to pot and the heads went down after the first shock. West Ham were always our bogey team as well as Nottingham Forste so nothing lost here but lots to gain. COYB.
