put against recent standards, a decent performance and a respectable point.Shame couldnt hang on for the three Seagulls certainly tested defence.Seriously beginning to wonder if Chopra is going to produce what is needed now though.Another good performance from Loach .So a good point keeps PJ in a job for another week at least.Another big test Saturday . Not at the game - but beginning to feel for Jewell after this - played so well in the first half - but we have one or two (not loanee's) who just weren't up for the battle, and did not keep possession when absolutely crucial - far too many balls given away in the second half of this game - needlessly.

Naivety and non commitment lost this game for us, from certain players who Jewell SHOULD BE ABLE TO RELY ON TO DO BETTER.

As I've said, feel sorry for Jewell after this one - down to 'certain' players I'm afraid.

Cardiff didn't deserve to win it - we gave it to them.

We have to clear one or two of our resident players out of this Club - they, and you, should know who they are.

Sunday League mistake from our keeper for the Cardiff equaliser - work on him Webster, that was a howler!

Can't believe we lost this, after TOTALLY dominating the first half - but you cannot play a second half like some players did, and expect to win.

Being honest and fair - Jewell had players out there that should have done the job for him - they failed him big time.

Unlucky, played reasonably well in patches but now's the sensible time to sort this situation out or these results will just go on and on and on....

23rd..the table does not lie Marcus.

Why o why does pj not play 2up front.DJ got tired but whether it him or scotland or chops they are chasing a loose ball most of the time and when a ball comes in theres only one in the box.Bringing moshi on at 90min is joke.Murf on the wing the same, and jet dosent do enough. Its the manager that looks at this a an its he that can make the changes..

Got to blame Loach for both Cardiff goals, I'm afraid. Spilled an easy cross for the first goal and then failed to come for the cross, for the second.

Fist half as said we played fairly well, moved the ball around nicely down the right side with Edwards and JET and had to be said Cardiff looked lackluster with only the odd hopeful ball slung into our box. We had a good opportunity through Campbell missed and a good shot from JET but didn't create much other than that until Campbell forgot to play football and moved onto volleyball to net our goal - and largely deserved.
The second half to me was more end to end with Cardiff showing more imputeous to score. We could have wrapped the game up if JET had showed more composure after a good build up, then after that as we were almost in sight of the precious 3 points the mistakes came from Loach who fluffed a cross and then late on with a muddle up between Loach and not for the first time this season Cresswell on a cross to let Helgusson in with a header.
As H32 mentioned Cardiff were lucky to take all 3 points and echo the thoughts about feeling a bit sad for Jewell on this game but unfortunately these individual mistakes keep happening so it must be the fault of someone. If we don't play badly in general then these mistakes cost us the points in games we should get at least a point.
To sum up we played ok in general and Cardiff were lucky but what I find disconcerting is how often the opponents get somewhat on top as the match progresses leading to mistakes at the back/goal - smells of a team lacking in confidence to see games out. Maybe it really is time for a change and change of mind set.

Where was plan b? Where was the change in tactics when it was clear Cardiff were taking hold of the game in the second half.

And why play one up front who was so isolated.

1 win in 9 and the time has come. The whole thing Is a mess.

1st Time Ive seen Town this season (live abroad) and was impressed with how good we are .....up to a point , edwards is in a class of his own . martin and jet show flashes . but what has happened to cresswell . drury was ok for 60 mins . There were times in that game when we were so superior ,but we need to splash some cash on a big time goal scorer . what happened to the wickam cash ???? arrrrggggghhhhh that was so frustrating to watch, and marks out of 10 for the portman road atmosphere 1 , atrocious.
