Skuse is the type of mid field player we've been needing for a long while. Defo Motm. Chambo and Tommy were both solid as and Murph and DMcG worked their socks off.

Lacked the final bit of quality in the first half, but were much better in the second, forcing two OGs and another beauty of a header from Tommy.

Millwall are need someone decent upfront, and overall were pretty poor all over the park

Good signs for the road ahead. COYBs

3 points at home. Deserved all three goals. Looked a bit lucky not to concede just before we scored, from the SBS at least. But overall thought we were strong, and am encouraged by the 2 league performances.

Stand out performances for me were

McGoldrick: excellent all round. should have done better when through one on one early on but did well get to get through in first place.

Skuse: looked quality on the ball, particularly in the second half.

Smith/Chambers: strong. only one real mistake by a smith - a misdirected header first half.

but it was a real team performance today. and a good base going into some tough games.

Low on entertainment, low on quality. Skuse look good and a number of other players put in a shift. 3 points is always welcomed but there's obviously a lot of wok to do before we challenge better teams than Millwall.

Skuse looked fantastic, he never loses the ball, keeps it simple, retains possession and then sometimes plays a sweet ball through to play in one of the strikers. I rate hyam very highly but for me he didn't play very well today, I don't know if him and skuse will work well together, it might take them time to gel and only time will tell. But mcgoldrick was a class act today, skills, touches and class. Very happy with the back 5 although I don't like smith at left back hen Berra came on would much rather have smith and chambo although by the point he came on it didn't matter. I like the look of Anderson has a good delivery on him. Everyone looked tired towards the end though but it's early days still. Very happy with the performance today. Mcgoldrick, skuse and tabb look the best summer signings to date although I was disappointed we didn't see Taylor today.also like the look of tunicliffe but don't think he's good enough for Man U and I don't think he will be but would like to see us sign him up permanently

Skuse and Hewitt impressed for me but good all round performance. Can't see us leaking too many goals with a solid back 5. Positive goal difference - when did we last have that? Good signs for the rest of the season coz we've got a a good blend and some of the long balls are teasing crossfield balls! MM had a good close season and has got players who can not only play but want to play for ITFC.

With an influx of players this summer there was always a danger we would look like a team of strangers. Not so, we looked organized and disciplined. Attacked as a team and defended as a team. Agree with so many others Skuse was excellent and pulled the strings in midfield. McGoldrick worked his socks off and would have deserved a goal. The defence looks solid and I didn't have that sinking feeling I had become used to last season whenever we were under pressure (which wasn't often). It was one way traffic first half with Loach having next to nothing to do. Second half Millwall showed a bit more intent but as soon as the first goal went in the writing was on the wall. It wasn't pretty at times and was very much the type of hard graft performance we have gotten used to under McCarthy. I for one will take that all day.

Few turned up.Summer continued its humid steamy Suffolk sweat.

Bobby remembered.Goosebumps proud, we meowed , rather than roaring as the battle commenced.

Millwall floundered, McGoldrick skipped and Bywater thwartered (twarted).

Chambo free headers into a bulging net....(misses from 3 feet...)

Huffin' and a Puffin(not Hermann's) we made it down the tunnel for an orange slice and a brew.

Lions did then roar, we found the roof of the net. Shittu moaned , he's like Ronseal as the shirt(tin) signifies.

Cressy dribbles like a newborn,Keystone Kop defending Bywater claims the OG. Left them nursing their saw paws.Grizzly bears they were now.

Smith rises like the Beat and buries it.

Anderson adds to his assist with a second OG.

Simples....
