We were too slow in build ups .... they parked the bus . We played into their hands .... they knew excatly how we play and just stopped all our play in the middle for most the game...

Walton made some great saves
Carroll was poor
Celina was non existent for most of the game . Which is a shame as im a big fan of him

Oh well onto next season ... play some youth now and just enjoy the last few games !
We need 3 forwards a LB and a LM for next season and its so painfully obvious

Woolfenden was much better than the score he's getting at the moment (5.6). I think this applies to one or two others too. (Donacien, for example, didn't do much wrong.) I'm not suggesting we were very good today, but maybe things will change as more people vote ...

Loss of urgency then too hectic to be calm. Must make more of the chances - strikers are to stiff and not flexible. Too much pressure and too big an ask.Think Jacko will be the only striker with us at the dusk.

Playing with Carroll in the team feels like we are playing with ten men. He offers very little apart from some neat and tidy passes. Bakinson was starting to look the part and dispite being a defensive midfielder looks more likely to creative something and allows Morsy to get more forward.

Too casual and too slow, clearly the team just thought it was going to be an easy 3 points. Carroll is dreadful and offers very little so can't understand why Aluko wasn't starting.
We made it so easy for them and could have been 2-0 down by half time! Such a difference to Plymouth game so now that playoffs have gone time to se who else can step up before end of season clear out.

Totally agree Linkboy, Carroll should be nowhere near the first team. As a defensive midfielder he doesnt win ball in the air, too lightweight/cant tackle and doesnt have the speed to cover his lack of strength. As an attacking midfielder he rarely makes an incisive through ball/forward pass, very few assists and even less goals..............so what is he doing playing!?
