OH....here we go. The smoke screen trick. We have a club paying the wages of a team that can not muster a fight against a non league team and now they want to cushion the pain with a free bus ride. Just like they did after the humiliating defeat at Peterborough a few years ago. Totally meaningless. What should be happening is a plan to employ a new manager, recruit able footballers and a football chief to sort this club out root and branch.. |  |

I was on number 1 - I think that made the problem worse, as these would have been mainly GC holders.
Their super-fan badges were being polished frequently.
I get that they're a convenient and hassle-free way of going to the game.... but a beer or two before is nice. Unfortunately, it took an hour to get from entering Lincoln to getting to the ground, not helped by the driver going the wrong way and getting stuck down a side-street.
Even when we approached the roundabout near the ground, I could sense he was going to go the wrong way. He duly did and once the police finally freed us from the side street, we then had to crawl all the way back to the roundabout and down the correct road before turning in to the ground's car park. | |

I disagree, but this seems to be the way of modern football fans these days.
I chose not to go for 3 reasons:
1. It was on TV
2. I didn't want to waste a half days annual leave
3. I thought it would be a terrible game.

Compensation for poor performances should come in the form of not playing like a hungover pub side in the next game.
Better this than total refunds though - as someone (unfortunately I forget who) said on here the other day, fans always complain about being treated like customers but can't see the hypocrisy in demanding a refund when they're not satisfied. |  |
