Nice place to visit, and if the little 'un (or you for that matter) is into Beatrix Potter, then lots to interest you.
Lavenham, with the superb Guildhall is, of course, even better with its various cinematic connections - including of course Harry Potter. The NT tea shop at the Guildhall is the best around).
There are also fascinating WW2 pillboxes if you set out along the Railway Walk towards Lavenham (don't do the full walk it's a muddy 4.5 miles). There was a 'stop line' for the German invasion passing through the village.
(SS-GB viewers will be pleased to know that, when war-gamed in 1974 at Sandhurst, Operation Sea Lion was an abysmal failure for the Germans.

The full walk is a lovely one though. Kentwell and the Guildhall are on here...
I wasn't impressed upon first listen but it's been growing on me.
You heard the slowdive stuff?
Yep. Not bad either. It's a pity Lush couldn't stay together long enough to do an album. The one I'd like to see come back is the Boo Radleys, forget all the Wake Up Boo! shyte. Ichabod and I, Everything's Alright Forever and the mighty Giant Steps are superb albums.
I had a Northern lad working for me and he thought the pill boxes were bird hides. 300cm of concrete walls!!!!. Kentwood Hall is great for a day out. Lambs ,daffodils plus feed the carp in the moat. When they feed the chickens untold birds turn up.Lovely.
