I'm not. It's raining, so an outside job has been put off, something else lined up for this afternoon.
Much prefer traditional bread buns. Not that keen on the taste and texture of brioche, especially when combined with the meat. | |

It definitely works. I tried it a few years ago when I didn't have any other bread / rolls apart from Hot Cross Buns. If you like the whole sweet / savoury thing you'll love it.
In my eyes everything is better with bacon.
Another one to try... Wrap some streaky bacon around a banana (skinned of course) - chuck it in the oven until the bacon is crispy. Indulge. It looks a mess, but it's bloody lovely. |  |
